Green smoothies and cravings

Hi, I’ve been having 1 quart of green smoothie per day for 7 weeks and inside these I usually have 2 bananas, 1 apple, 1 pear and sometimes another piece of fruit and 2 bunches of greens. The thing is after one hour of having these, I feel hungry again and crave cooked food like cakes,chips, anything fried, burgers …! I have tried adding more greens, more fruit but it is the same. Can anyone please give me any suggestions to make the smoothie more filling so it would last me longer than one hour? Thanks xx

Try adding some avocado (1/4 to 1/2 an avocado is the amount I use), or a couple of tablespoons of hemp seed. I prefer the seed to hemp protein powder because it is less processed.

The added (good) fat keeps me satiated.

Perhaps double your recipe? Have one quart and an hour later have the other?

Try this - 6 bananas, 6 strawberries, plus you greens.
