Date: July 18, 2011 08:23PM Vitamin K is not all that easily had as far as I know. This is an interesting source for it, particularly in summer when my kids are forever scraping knees etc and can really use the blood clotting properties of Vit K.
I've only ever had them dried once, I can't say I cared for the flavour, or lack there of, at all. Fresh is amazing, they're my favourite berry hands down. Re: Mulberry, nutritional data

Date: July 20, 2011 05:05AM Thanks for the mulberry page coco! Shucks, I wish they grew here. I think it's also surprising how much iron is in them!
I keep mulberry extract in my fridge. If I feel any kind of sore throat or anything, I down a couple eyedroppers of mulberry extract before bed. Seems to work really well. Re: Mulberry, nutritional data

Date: July 20, 2011 01:56PM Wow, that is so cool! I wonder if I could make a simple syrup of mulberry for the kids when they're feeling low. Not that I want to dose them with sugar but perhaps there is a way of reducing it naturally and preserving it in the fridge or something.
What brand is the extract? I'd like to look it up. Re: Mulberry, nutritional data

Date: July 21, 2011 06:30AM Coco, I'm sorry, I goofed that up completely! I read and wrote "mulberry", but I was thinking "elderberry". If you're interested, the elderberry extract comes from Eclectic Institute. It's available online, but for some reason, I can't link it.
