Free accomodations for housesitting/caretaking Ranch

Date: July 14, 2006 07:37PM We are a small rural California desert ranch with a nice well, located on a hillside in the Salton Sea area, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Palm Springs.
Quite remote and secluded in a beautiful desert setting, the land is presently in a clean-up phase with serious intentions of turning the place into an organic fruit orchard and yoga retreat center. There is a 3 bedroom house with a garage and several ponds on a spacious parcel of land with lots of palms and native plants. We need a caretaker/s for a live-in situation....a conscious mature person or couple, preferably with an income or pension, without kids or pets. No tobacco or drugs. Pay utilities.
