Saponification creates heat! Anyone ever felt that during a liver flush?

Some people wonder if liver flushes are myths. They think that what is happening is that saponification is fooling people into thinking that they are cleansing their liver of stones, when what actually is happening is that they are just saponifying the oil and lemon juice.

But, I've found interesting soap making sites that say that saponification both requires heat to get started, and also is a chemical reaction which creates heat!?!

Wonder where people got the idea that saponification could both occur at body temperature and not be felt by the cleanser as an increase in heat in certain areas?

From some soap making sites:

[candleandsoap.about.com]
"Definition: Saponification is an exothermic (gives off heat) chemical reaction that occurs when fats or oils (fatty acids) come into contact with lye (a base.)"

"Saponification generates heat and the total saponification of the batch of soap requires that it be cooled at a very slow rate."

"Saponification is an exothermic reaction, meaning it gives off heat forcing the soap to form a 'gel' before it cools."

"When the reaction starts, as saponification is an exothermic reaction, steam feeding can be reduced or completely eliminated."

This guy on curezone also had issues with saponification:

"hveragerthi has made two distinct assertions.

1) Liver Flush stones are caused by saponification of olive oil resulting in soap stones
2) liver flush stones are formed from a sterol/cholesterol complex with the cholesterol coming from bile

i will disprove both of these."
