Are dates (medjool) too sugary for first thing in the morning?

I like something more juicy for my first meal although today I had guavas instead of my usaul papapyas.
Medjool dates are great to eat I enjoy them a lot when I can find them.
Hard for me to stop eating them.

Cherimoya,

I too prefer something more juicy but i eat them first thing in the morning if I'm off for a long run or have a race on - but a bit pricey for me to have too often.

Thanks for the answers y'all smiling smiley I LOVE dates- but wasn't sure if I was being a glutton eating them first thing (also wasn't sure if it was good/bad for digestion that time of morning).

I eat a green smoothie first thing every morning -- trying to train my body to ask for greens first!

If that's what works for you then it's fine. I start the day with 6 bananas. Sorry Paul, but that's just the way I roll! Love your work nonetheless, homey.
