carbs or protein after a workout?

Date: February 23, 2012 10:58PM Which is better for recovery? Carbs replenish glycogen, but protein is good for rebuilding tissue. Is a combination of both good? I usually go with fruit (500+ kcal) but am still not reaching the rapid recovery I would like and hear others talk about. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
