Well BW, it's pretty hard not to, since they're so prevalent. And because of this, there are a lot of jobs in fast food joints too. From your post, I get the impression that you work in one BW, but sorry if you don't. Anyway, no-one would put you down for that, so long as you don't give in to the junk lol

dont beat yourself up. Even just having 1 green smoothy a day is still 100 times better than the average SAD eater.

LOL- no Geo, I don't work there! I still drink coffee, which I am soon to quit. Usually I go to cafes, which also have SAD stuff but at a slightly healthier level. I went to a chain known for coffee but not as yuppified. I don't want to name names but their "food" looks horrid! And I watched a worker blend a coffee drink in the Blend and squirt "caramel" syrupy stuff along the sides of the cup and wanted to seriously hurl.

I still use the franchised coffee outlets as its about the only place to hang out here that doesn't involve alcohol, but only go for camomile teas etc.

I am always getting mocked by the staff for asking for a camomile tea . Guess its not as trendy and cool as asking for double mocha chinos with chocolate sprinkles and caramel syrups, marshmallows and whatever else they put in them lol.

Probably a British thing Tamukha, tease sort of in a mocky way. I guess i probably don't look like the type of person that drinks camomile or herbal teas, mind you this treatment only happens in the franchised outlets, smaller dedicated herbal tea shops are very friendly i find and yeah happy for the sale.

I still get watched when i go into various health stores here so it must be my overall look, thinking im going to steal or something lol.

Sometimes i will head into town in sportswear if ive been at the gym like a hoodie or adidas zip up and trackie bottoms. Here that is what many of the chavs wear so people here just automatically sterotype and assume you must be a chav lol.

If i go in with a suit on its a completely different reaction.

He's a dude. A young buff dude. I still can't see anybody saying boo to anyone else for ordering tea but where you're living sounds quite a bit different from here Chris.

Oh that's right. It's strange because I keep getting certain genders mixed up on here. For anyone, it seems strange to mock their drink. If the person taking the order is mocking you, that's not right!

Like i say it doesn't seem to happen in any small non-franchised own coffee shop. It could be this one shop in particular, although a few times ive had some other funny looks and laughs from the staff for ordering a camomile tea.

A chav or NED as they are known here is a non educated delinquent, usually wears sport style close such as tracksuit bottoms. People can be abit stereotypical and funny around here with clothing also lol.

So...you guessed it, and you should see the look of surprise (or disgust) that I get when I order one tea but with an extra cup... rofl haha
