Date: March 25, 2012 10:17PM I have the second latest version of the vitamix (I think, maybe 3rd by now) and I love it. I don't think it's any quieter than other vitamix machines but it isn't loud, much less noisy than the plain old regular powered blender I had before. It's a terrific machine.
