also it bears to remind that storing certain things with others can hasten the ripening (or decomposing lol) of certain things one reminder i always harken to is never to store apples near root crops .. the off gassing hastens deterioration .. like wise .. onions with potatoes should never be stored in the same bin .. im sure there are many other examples out there in the world wide web! ...Jodi, the banana eating buddhist Re: Storing Fruits and Veges

Now that sounds logical, but I've found that organic leafy greens that are refigerated last much longer than inorganic. It's also logical that organic produce has more 'life' in them, so that they last longer. So which is it??? jalan Re: Storing Fruits and Veges
