Date: May 20, 2012 01:47AM As I prepare to either go raw,or include tons of more fruit in my diet,I am concerned. When I eat bananas or strawberries..it does something to my gums and roof of mouth, and cheeks. Not like sore,but..I dont know how to explain it..doing a mono meal of some fruit like this mighr be hard,lol.. Re: Strawberries and bananas affecting gums/mouth?

If it's tingling or slight numbness, it could be a sensitivity or slight allergy. IMO, you ought not to push it; avoid any food that makes your mouth/gums/sinuses/trachea feel consistently uncomfortable. Re: Strawberries and bananas affecting gums/mouth?

Date: May 21, 2012 12:46PM My bad experience - fruit if perfectly fine for healthy teeth, but for those that miss the enamel (or however you call the protective layer on healthy teeth) fruit is devastating. One needs to flush with water often, after eating fruit. Just my opinion anyway. Re: Strawberries and bananas affecting gums/mouth?
