As I prepare to either go raw,or include tons of more fruit in my diet,I am concerned. When I eat bananas or strawberries..it does something to my gums and roof of mouth, and cheeks. Not like sore,but..I dont know how to explain it..doing a mono meal of some fruit like this mighr be hard,lol..

Kevin,

If it's tingling or slight numbness, it could be a sensitivity or slight allergy. IMO, you ought not to push it; avoid any food that makes your mouth/gums/sinuses/trachea feel consistently uncomfortable.

My bad experience - fruit if perfectly fine for healthy teeth, but for those that miss the enamel (or however you call the protective layer on healthy teeth) fruit is devastating. One needs to flush with water often, after eating fruit. Just my opinion anyway.
