Date: June 05, 2012 06:25PM I remember long ago when I found out that Michelle Pfeiffer was what is known as a Skinny Fat and was so disappointed because I have always been attracted to her like any other healthy man should be simply because she’s so attractive. For those not familiar with that phrase - Skinny Fat, it applies to skinny people who have no muscle and fat in its place. So even though she was thin, she had no muscle mass to speak of and had a very high Body Fat %.
At any rate, this is Good News…thanks for the post. Peace and Love..........John Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/05/2012 06:26PM by John Rose. Re: Michelle Pfeiffer Goes Vegan

It was more than attractiveness for me. I liked her cute manner, and concern for the Vegan Diet. I especially liked it when she talked about lowering her Blood Cholesterol. As a former School Teacher, I can't help grading her where she stands now (on a scale of 1 to 10)......a 2......WY Re: Michelle Pfeiffer Goes Vegan

Date: June 06, 2012 04:49PM Am I the only one who finds women being graded on the basis of their looks to be offensive?! I mean, there is so much PC-enforcement on here when it comes to race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation so I am flabberghasted that such a comment came and went without much notice.
(Or maybe certain people are immune from judgement?) Re: Michelle Pfeiffer Goes Vegan

Date: June 06, 2012 04:54PM I agree that grading women based solely on looks is offensive and sexist. My original purpose in posting the thread was just that Michelle had become one of us.

Date: June 06, 2012 05:17PM Michelle Pfeiffer became a millionaire playing the "judge my looks" game. If she takes it for the good, she should be prepared to take it for the bad.
I have nothing against her, but I do see her type as something that we've been brainwashed into believing is the epitome of female beauty. Prior to the 1960s and the rise of Twiggy, everyone had historically preferred women with curves. Pfeiffer's beauty is a lie. It's unnatural for men to find that attractive. How many women have fallen into eating disorders or mutilated their bodies with plastic surgery in the pursuit of that look? If I say that I don't find Michelle Pfeiffer attractive, that's my way of telling women that there are still some men who can enjoy a healthy, natural earth goddess. Please enjoy life because we love you just the way you are. If that makes me sexist, so be it. banana who Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Am I the only one who finds women being graded on > the basis of their looks to be offensive?! Date: June 06, 2012 05:35PM HH, I wasn't referring to you. However, your remarks are a bit much for me. Neither you nor I know whether or not MP's natural body should be like that. To suggest that all women must have curves and that all men should find that look attractive doesn't work for me, either. As a woman, I know that some women are naturally skinny and almost boyish in their shape and they deserve appreciation, too! Luckily, men have different "tastes." Hopefully the more evolved man transcends choosing a mate by his "type" and makes his decision with a higher set of criteria than looks... Re: Michelle Pfeiffer Goes Vegan

Date: June 06, 2012 05:55PM I agree but someone needs to stand up for those who don't suit the mainstream version of beauty.
Men tend to start experiencing radical testosterone depletion at around the age of 40. This gives them more sense and they start choosing who they're attracted to based more on the person's inner-traits. Even a guy like me, and probably most on this forum, who's physically younger at 44 than he was at 24 can see beyond the superficial exterior to a more enlightened extent than when I was younger. I'm just glad that I can find any women to like me. The fact that many of them are world-class absolutely baffles me. banana who Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > HH, I wasn't referring to you. Date: June 06, 2012 06:54PM Casey Kasem is a vegan. Does that make him a 10? You see, this is what's really lame about so many vegans, the lack of objectivity.

Date: June 07, 2012 01:30PM I understand where Utopian Life is coming from, HH. John's statement,
gave me pause, because attractiveness is totally subjective; your posts at this thread indicate you agree. I don't think it's a fair thing to insinuate that a man, like you, for instance, is somehow suspect if he doesn't find Michelle Pfeiffer automatically attractive. On the other hand, we all make generalizations of this kind and John probably didn't mean it to sound that categorical. Re: Michelle Pfeiffer Goes Vegan

"I, um....you know, I mean....I..you know...and you know....you know, umm....and, um....and I um..." etc. ad nauseum. She's good looking, but that's it as far as I'm concerned. She can't talk. She's worse than those beauty contest winners that people make fun of. Re: Michelle Pfeiffer Goes Vegan

Oh, the > hypocrisy... Kid, the 1% are only called out when they create policies which affect us all. Hence, Wall Street and affecting the price of commodities. For all I know, MP gives 95% of it away (I doubt it, but it's a faint possibility). OWS just doesn't hate wealth across the board, just as all wealthy people are not greedy bastards who fight tax increases Re: Michelle Pfeiffer Goes Vegan

Date: June 07, 2012 03:52PM Unreal. You could interpret his words in a perfectly harmless manner too. I'm sorry but I don't want to be around that sort of darkness of mind. I would never accuse a human brother or sister of something like that with so little footing for the accusation. It's very sad for me to see that people have been so thoroughly brainwashed to seek out and create conflict amongst each other like this. It's everything they want us to do. We need to be united, not at each other's throats. If you have an issue with homophobia to the point where you want to be an activist against it, maybe you should look for some bigger fish to fry who actually are homophobic. Why don't you go picket a Mormon church or something?
