I just discovered that there is a big difference between the human's and ape's digestive system. Humans have much longer small intestine. Apes have much longer colon. They can digest much easier green stuff with the use of bacteria flora in the colon. Human need to eat different diet, more rich in nutrients. Even if we were originally apes, things have changed much since then.

Time is relative. I think there is a lake in Africa where a fish mutated in a relative short amount of time in to a large group of different fishes.

There is a documentary on youtube about effect of cooked food on human brain. Cook food packs lots of energy in small amounts. But then the human brain grows its most during the early baby phase. There is lots of room for speculations. It depends who reads them, what attracts them, and what they want to believe. There are speculations for every body.

be it as it may - we cannot eat a gorrila diet. our system is much more delicate and needs food that can be easily digested. it does not have to be cooked food, but more fat and protein, since we cannot extract it so easily as apes from the large intestine...
