Date: November 08, 2012 03:30AM I didn't mean to offend anyone. I took it as satire or an opportunity to laugh at ourselves. It never occurred to me that the intent was serious. My assumption was that he himself could match one of his categories if not a few of them. I did read one of his books a long time ago, but I'm not particularly familiar with his blogging. So, yes, no idea that anyone would take it literally or that it was intended as such. And if it does strike achord? Laugh a little?

Date: November 08, 2012 03:04PM I don't get a cheeky tone from this at all; IMO, it's sincere effort to explain the variety of people in this lifestyle that FP believes to be most common. I found his observations very interesting, and his general laissez faire approach refreshing.

Date: November 08, 2012 10:57PM I am #1. I am a wannabe. I prefer to look at it as an aspiration, though. I used to think that I had to be 100% or else it didn't "count" but upon re-reading Victoria Boutenko's total re-edit of "10 Steps to Raw Foods," she says that she took the extra copies of the first edition and destroyed them because she did not like the preachy tone.
