lo carb veggies

Calling for a list of some low carb veggies I can use...

I ate alot of carrots and nightshade vegetables, and I was really "off". Too much sugar and my stomach was bloated and irritable.

I always go back to more low carb eating... is that weird? so many people here eat and promote fruit.

I don't know what you consider "low" carb. I do not recommend this approach. Try to eat more raw, fresh fruits and vegetables with a concentration on LEAFY green vegetables. Starchy vegetables never digested well for me, (i.e. carrots, beets, etc.)

Hi
Thanks. I think I meant to say not starchy veggies, but you said it for me.

I do much better on celery, kale, broccoli, asparagus... what else is there??

Great, this helps. Now I just have to implement it by practice. I think my issue is that I eat all day long instead of just sitting down and enjoying the meal.

I am working on it, but when I am bored, I eat. And.. doctoral studies can be isolating and boring!!smiling smiley

however, luckily, I am only snacking on veggies but then I get bloated if I eat too many at once. sad smiley
