That's the 9-tray with timer: [www.amazon.com]

Question: I decided to get the generic non-stick sheets and I just discovered that they (as well as Excalibur's Paraflexx ones) are covered in Teflon. It's a bit silly since I still have a couple of Teflon pots but I am just wondering if any of you use these sheets.

Update: Did the unboxing last night! smiling smiley Now I just have to find a place to put it, LOL. I have a rather large kitchen but still...

Question: I have linoleum and I was wondering if anyone puts their dehydrator directly on the floor. I was also wondering if it would be okay to put atop my fridge (which has that vinyl coating on it)?

I have had it atop a fridge, on a floor, on a high shelf, on the table, ha. Everywhere.

Thanks, Coco. I was just concerned that the bottom might get too hot. I know I will only be having it below 110 degrees but still...

I just bought a bunch of spices for my future multiple batches of KALE CHIPS!

It didn't seem to get too hot but if the top of a fridge were a hot spot it might increase the temp inside the D maybe?
Oh, kale chips. Make a huge batch, they vanish licketty split!

Well, but of course I will...winking smiley

I am also SO making power wraps (cheeze-filled nori sheets) and flavored pumpkin seeds.

Ani Phyo has an interesting recipe for banana crepes, which just involve bananas and flax seeds. Very simple and sounds purty good...

Matt and Angela have a youtube recipe with filled nori rolls that look incredible. I have yet to try them but I will, I love nori.
