What does "shortly" mean? Today, this week? I need to know so that I can be on the look for it, in case it shows up in my spam files. Because those are hard to navigate...

Coco, perhaps you gave the wrong email address? They let me know it was on its way. Also, you're in Canada, so there might be a lag time...Check your Sent box to make sure you sent out the email in the first place.

I got the book! Nice cover, well written with some practical advice and a few good looking recipes. Unfortunately the focus is on losing weight which is not the direction for me as I'm already quite thin with a fairly fast metabolism. The daily menus would not meet my caloric needs at all. Many of the recipes call for ingredients I'm not fond of, agave, tamari type condiments, some dairy, out of season/exotic ingredients etc. Good for some people for transition but I'd replace them for myself. I'm not sure it's very child friendly either. I mean, not unfriendly just not a lot of juvenile appeal which is important to me as I'm really not into making two or three meals at a time, lol.
I'll spend some time with the book, make a few of the dishes, then write a more throrough review.
Nanners, have you made anything yet? What did you think? My mom wants the book from me so we'll do some of the food prep together and then I'll most likely pass it along to her. She is more recipeyish than I .

I have not made anything yet but there is one for some taco "meat" (walnuts?) that looks good and easy and is one for the dehydrator. I think you put it in there for only an hour, which is unusual.

That must be just for warming it up. I am more likely to warm things in an oven or on the stove to be honest. If it's just a little warming for a short period of time I don't mind doing it that way, takes only a few mins instead of an hour and setting up the D.

Would speed up ferments too, if you're wanting to make coco-yogurt etc. My mom used to set it in the oven when gas ovens stayed warm inside all the time. The new ones don't do that anymore so you gotta find a way to keep a yogurt brew warm.
