Vitamix Low Profile 64 oz carafe recall for Pro 300, Pro 750

Vitamix has issued a voluntary recall for its low-profile 64 oz carafe that is used in the Vitamix Pro 300 and Vitamix Prof 750. Click on the second link below to learn whether or not you are affected. The first link is just a news story from the Consumer Product Safety Commision, the second is Vitamix's link to learn more about the recall. 18 blade breakages have been reported but no injuries. This does not affect the tall carafe used in the 4500, 5200, Vita Prep 3, Turboblend, Pro 200 or Pro 500
