I personally use flouride in the tooth paste. Flouride applied topically (not swallowing) to the teeth strenthens and makes tighter the web of enamel. Fluoride in drinking water is bad but ok in toothpaste. The simplest cheapest toothpaste is best for strength results. Multipurpose toothpastes are not as good. Aslo xylitol sugar daily is also good.

Good points. I think I am going back to it. I just bought an ionic toothbrush and I think it's pretty good but would work better with a baking soda/fluoride toothpaste.

I like the one from Trader Joe's.

PERIO.

Said to be one of the only toothpastes which eliminates spiral-K (can't spell it) which is a bacteria that rots teeth and responsible for lymes disease.

I'll second that, PERIO! and I would never use Fluoride or Xylitol. Fluoride will absorb into the bloodstream via the gums quite well.

the ionic brush works very well for the stains between teeth (weak points) and the back teeth. You will see before/after difference in about 30 days or so.

Thanks for the heads up on the time it takes! I find the brush very nice to use and it comes with four replacements. All for $30. Can't beat it with a stick. smiling smiley

I won't buy toothsoap anymore. It just tasted like shaved soap. I could have used Dr. Bronner's for a whole lot less!

I like Ecodent. It's a mixture of various things and comes in a powder in a bottle.

I like Uncle Harry's organic tooth powder.

I use Uncle Harry's too.
I don't think fluoride is good in tooth paste eather. It gets not only on the teeth but all over the mouth. The digestion process starts in the mouth, as we know. Some supplements and medicines are sublingual because they are absorbed better that way...

I use a small amount of salt, baking soda & liquid peroxide(3%).

In about 1988, People Magazine featured a photo/article the then oldest practicing dentist in the U.S. I think he was 92 or so. He said that he'd personally been using this formula since dental school, had perfect teeth & gums & recommended it to all his patients.

I've noticed through the years quite a difference in dental check-ups (for the much better) when I stick to this regimen vs. ANY commercial toothpaste or powders.

I have used toothsoap before and I love it. I also use Dr. Bronners hemp peppermint soap. I dilute it with water and use that as tooth cleaner.
