What are the best places (farms & online stores)to order bulk (raw & organic) shelled nuts which haven't been cooked in the shelling process? I'm looking mainly for macadamias, pecans, walnuts, filberts & almonds.

Thanks!

Walnuts I've gotten from a variety of sources. I'll try to get back with some links. I get almonds & cashews from DimondHealth.com. The rest I don't use.

Are walnuts cooked in the US? I'd thought we were safe with walnuts. There again, they're all dried, and I'm a bit hazy as to the temperatures they're dried to. Anyone have any info on that?

Temperature of walnut drying depends on the farmer. Most do 110 - 140.

Most of the non-adjustable dehydrators have only one temp and its 160 f.
