I know raw foodism and Ayurveda don't typically dance well together, but lately I've read a few sites that claim such a waltz is possible. Just wondering if anyone here incorporates that philosophy into their daily constitutional.

Personally I'm a half-assed Ayurvedic groupie, appreciating its nature-based focus and its understanding of our various thrown-together compositions, and yet, no philosophy, it seems to me, no matter how established or profound, can survive forever if it fails to evolve with its evolving constituents, or maybe I've just spent too much time dreaming, too tired of dietary wars, on my ceaseless quest to find balance. Thus I'm experimenting. Anyone ahead of me on this and, um, foraging the way?

Why wouldn't Ayurveda and raw foodism go well together?

Most Ayurveda practitioners typically do not recommend raw foods, especially as a full-time endeavor, and is against it for some dosha types. Raw foods are considered beneficial for some types in the spring and summer, though it is still limited.
