Gerson Therapy Juicers Review
Posted by: taylor123 ()

I've been looking for a long time to find the best type of juicer combo. I want a grind/press setup. Nothing really seemed to fit my budget. Recently I came across this site [www.shahogenjuicepresses.com] Anyone heard of them or used that setup? It looks great to me, I am going to place an order, but wanted others opinions first.

Why juice? Because you can take pounds of vegetables or sprouts and get enormous amounts of easily assimilated nutrition while putting zero strain on your digestion.

Juicing has its place.
I have been looking for similar juicer but where the grind and press are done by the machine without human intervention.
This seem to be similar to the Norwalk but bigger and probably better.
What about this model [www.dnajuicer.com]

Looks impossible to properly clean and the baking pan with the hole drilled in it doesn't do it for me, either.

This is what I have and it has served me well for several years while saving a lot of money by squeezing every last drop out of expensive organic veggies. It's also easily cleanable.

Thanks for your comments!

The DNA juicer is just a juicer. I am looking for a grind/press setup. This is what Gerson recommends. This is a 2 step setup, not a 1 step setup.

I went ahead and ordered the Shahogen Juice Press. They said I should have it in 3 days.

Thanks for all your comments. I'll let you all know what I think of it.

They said cleaning it is easy, there is just 1 tray to clean. I bought it because the tray is larger than other ones, so I should be able to press more at a time.

Anyone else have one of these? Just curious.

Well I hope you like it and if you don't I hope you can return it. You are going to spend a lot of time holding a cup unless you rig something up that will allow you to free your hand of that duty.

The collection pan looks like it might be just one of those chemically coated baking pans with an unreamed hole drilled through it. I hope it isn't. I also hope that the wood is treated and no longer porous so you don't have to disinfect it every time you use the press.

I research things a lot before I buy. After talking to them I was stoked to get it. The press pan is a food grade safe stainless steel actually. They also say its really easy to use, that's why its designed the way it is. The wood issue was also cleared up for me because its treated with a food grade mineral oil, that lasts for years.

Glad to hear it!

One thing there might be a problem with is the drainage hole being so small. With the Welles press the juice gets pressed out, and drains, very quickly. If your new press is as fast it could cause a big backup with everything staying wet in puddled juice if it's slow to drain. If that happens you could drill the hole bigger I suppose.

Ok. I get it now. I bet you know the maker of this press if you aren't the person who jury rigged the crappy set up together yourself.

I just read your other posts where you are saying how it's working great for you yet on this thread, which you posted on the very same day, you say you are going to place an order. So which of the several threads you've posted on are you telling the truth on? I'd bet none of them.

Explain this...[www.rawfoodsupport.com]

There are a couple different threads on different subjects about juicers. I haven't stayed on top of them all.

To be up to date, I have received the press, sooner than I thought, and its pretty cool. We'll see if the hole is big enough or not...

Of course you do. You have all of them and if people are smart that situation will continue.

Wow, That's a nice way to treat someone. I wish people were kind to each other, like what Christians are taught. I'm sorry If I offended you for talking about a juice press.

taylor, it appears that you said you had the juicer and then later said you were ordering one.

I read the other thread early on and I must admit I had the same thought, you are the owner/salesman of this item.

There was a member on here several months ago who was hawking a similar model press as you have there. Honestly, I thought it was the same guy. But, I'll give the benefit of the doubt.

As for the juicer itself; I'm a long-time juicer, and I have a Norwalk as well as other high end models. Nothing can compare to the Norwalk, really, if one is devoted to learning how to properly operate the unit.

From what I've seen, I'm not really a fan of the Shahogen, but if it works for you, thats all that matters.

No. That's not all that matters.

If you go to that website you will find that the person not telling the truth here has the same name as the owner of that website which, coincidence of coincidence, was started the same day taylor123 started spamming this site with false testimonials to try to lure people to buy his shoddy crap. That is not ok.

LOL -

Have a close look at the unit. Shoddy/old/scrap pieces of wood and the excess glue around the base of the legs add a nice touch...

Okay for a home project I suppose, but I sure wouldn't be trying to sell those things at $250 a pop!

Taylor123 aka superfoods aka shahogenpress.com,

No. Even if I could remove my comments I would not. Are you aware of the fact that the latest press you are trying to sell on this site in your threads is a knock off of, and will be in direct competition with, a juice press that the owner of this site himself sells? I am.

I will not be reading any more PMs from you. If you want to converse you will have do it here in public and face the music.

We are designing a press from the ground up which is unlike other presses. Its complete stainless steel, uses a 5 ton jack, and is going to have a large press tray that will be easy to use. Thank you very much.

Thanks SueZ it's the same person or a partner? Well they need to pay the bills also, just no need to be deceptive about it.

Lies, lies, shameless lies, is not a good way to start out a business, IMO. especially when you are hawking stuff that directly competes with the equipment the owner of this site sells legitimately and with honor.

It's sad things get blown out of proportion so quickly. We started designing a wood press, but realized the wood press could be a lot better, so we are designing a quality stainless steel press that will rock. The review I posted was my parents review of the first wood press that we had given to them. I told them to tell us what they thought about it, and wanted to post the review. We are Christian and treat others fairly, it's sad people take so much an advantage over others when they feel there is a thing to blow up over. Anyways, keep on juicing all you health fanatics!
