I watched the Woodstock Fruit Festival documentary last night smiling smiley

It was for 2012. I must admit--I was very impressed. I had a whole different attitude before I knew what it was all about. It appears to be a promotional type of video but very well-done and inspirational.

This is the same documentary that inspired you last year to complain that the WFF isn't diverse enough.

While the video and event is/was of little interest to me, it made me very happy to see folks enjoying themselves and trying to improve their lives through eating raw foods in their whole state. People who are into eating healthy foods are my type of people. Bravo to the `fruit people' for choosing to leave the SAD world behind.

Hopefully the video inspires more people to eat more raw foods that are unaltered by cooking nor processed.

One thing that l have noticed is the amount of people who say they thought they knew a lot about diet. Micheal the fruitarian said that and Fred P has said that. I am amazed that people think like that. I don't think hardly anyone knows much at all about diet. I don't think there is any such thing as a diet expert because we still don't know what's in the food, nor do we know a 100% sound vegan diet that can work for everyone because we lack sound studies to prove a certain vegan diet can work for large groups of people.

In sum, we know so little about anything. It stinks having to be so clueless, but we try and do the best we can with the very limited information we have on food and diets.

Will we ever grow from the dietary ignorance that we all suffer from? How can we gain much knowledge when we can't observe what people eat day in anmd day out to really know if certain diets work for large groups of people. All we can go on is testimonials based on people's words.

Again...I am always amazed at when people claim to know a lot about diet. Wow...just wow.

I must confess that your post went *whoosh* over my head. I get that it's pretty impossible for you to be an expert on MY diet but I do think it's fair to call someone an expert of their own diet, at least for now. For instance, if Matt Monarch has been 100% raw for 15 years or so, it's accurate to call him an expert on raw vegan. However, he is only an expert on 100% raw vegan as to how it pertains to him up 'til now. He can't make a blanket statement that it would work the same for every single humanoid. You are an expert on eating a high percentage of sprouts in one's diet.

Reasonable talk banana who, reasonable. That does have some partial truth in it, but what degree of truth? Have vegans found the optimal vegan diet that works for them, or have they not explored all options to have high level knowledge to really classify them as an expert? See...expert is a funny word...somewhat dubious because it usually doesn't mean total knowledge, it tends to be used by most people to mean very good knowledge in a narrow area.

So, is Matt an expert in what raw diet works for him? Has he been 100% fruitarian or 100% sproutarian? See what l am getting at? Matt has partial knowledge from limited experiences, but certain far from an expert because of limited experience in all vegan diets.

Never mind banana who, l am playing on words and nit picking here because l feel in a philosophical and deeply reflective mood.

Be well banana who, your vibration always comes through in wonderful tones, and may it continue to a long long time.

and races swimming etc.
made me want to eat some durian yellow tomatoes and arugula and that raw lasagna thing that lady was making from zucchini and pesto
