Need Ideas For Finding Organic/non-GMO raw foods!

Hello everyone. I'm new to this site, and still relatively new to the idea of raw and organic foods. I've been learning and making all kinds of lifestyle changes over the past 2 years, so I'm still a work in progress. Please bear with me!

My question is this: What advice do you all have for finding organic and non-GMO raw foods when your local markets have little to zero selection? My local grocery stores have extremely tiny "organic" sections of produce, and a lot of the stuff they offer is just plain awful (old, not fresh, tastes terrible). There is a local farm market that is open year-round, and has a bit more selection, but it's still very limited, and will be even moreso once summer passes. We do grow our own herbs, tomatoes, and peppers, and pumpkins, but obviously those won't be available in winter, either.

Ideas? Please? Is it better to eat non-organic raw foods if there's no other option available?

I have to get most of my fresh organic produce delivered from Peapod because I'm in the same boat you are. I used to be able to put in large orders from the local chain grocery store but that has become too unreliable. They order it but they don't often get what they order.

I would suggest watching John Kohler's okraw youtube videos on how to shop from wholesalers if you are near a city and need a lot of organic fruit. He's got it down.
