This is wild nori which is not an ag product grown on nets. It's not processed but if you soak it first you can unfold it into pieces which you can overlay into patchworks as sheets to use as wrappers. I've even draped it wet over half sphere objects to use as little transparent green food cups.

I like to play with my food.

Not sure about exact quantities but according to Brian Clement, you'd have to eat massive quantities of sea vegetables to overdose. Sea vegetables are very rich in iodine so it shouldn't take much. The brand of dulse flakes I used to have had 330% RDA iodine in a tablespoon.

Big agricultural industrial inc. grown, processed, and cooked Costco seaweed from who knows where under who knows what conditions is not a fair test of how sea veggies effect people at all. What's that about, Ramanam?

Absolutely nothing. I take 15 grams of seaweed a day in addition to a T. of chlorella. I also eat a huge amount of raw goitrogenic veggies despite the fact that I have Hashimotos thyroiditis. I am also taking 0.100 MG of Levothyroxine, (down from my original dosage of 0.180), for hypothyroidism.

So, as you can see, I am just about doing everything wrong if I were to listen to the self proclaimed expurts.

Lol. That's three times what the average Japanese person eats and they cook their kelp which drives off most of the iodine.
15 grams a day is equivalent to 5 T., or 1/3 C., of dulse flakes or 5 or 6 nori sheets.

"I also eat a huge amount of raw goitrogenic veggies despite the fact that I have Hashimotos thyroiditis."

Why?

Here are some things you may benefit from:

Ashwagandha, Siberian ginseng, maca, and high-quality probiotics

Also, are you sure you're not deficient in selenium, zinc, and/or D3?

Because they are beneficial and balancing.

I am aware of things I benefit from and monitor for deficiencies. I live experimentally and am not recommend anyone follow in my footsteps. The only thing I recommend for people to do is to document what you are doing, get regular lab tests, stay vigilant, and do your homework like an A student would.

"Because they are beneficial and balancing."

Yeah but not for hypothyroidism. What do you eat to assure you are getting enough zinc and selenium?

Yes they are balanced when considered in the context of the rest of my diet.

I get enough zinc and selenium from nuts and seeds. Remember - I am not on a low fat diet.

"I get enough zinc and selenium from nuts and seeds. Remember - I am not on a low fat diet."

You could also load up on chlorella. I think I'm going to start taking 15-20 grams of chlorella daily, which alone should almost cover daily zinc and iron requirements.

Have you tried eliminating raw goitrogenic vegetables for a period of time?

As I have stated many times I do take chlorella daily. It is the ingredient in tonic #3 of Tavis's Conductivity Diet protocol. I take 1 packed and level T. of it a day which is 7.2 grams.

Between that and the distilled water expect waves of strong detoxes - or some detoxes from Hell if you have amalgam dental fillings.

No, but I will if my next thyroid tests are worse.

I know, I was speaking in terms of zinc.

No amalgam fillings (thank God), but yeah I wouldn't be surprised if I went through a stage of heavy detox, but it's a good thing and eventually it will be over with. Going to start upping the daily juice intake too. I juiced my garlic chive sprouts today (3/4 cup seeds), got a little bit more than 8 oz.. and I can say that it is the strongest and most potent tasting juice I've ever consumed. Burns the tongue, burns going down, I had to take very small sips and drink distilled water afterwards to get it down. Wish I had known how strong it was, wouldn't have used all the sprouts at once.

Back when I was using a T. of 190,00 shu Birdseye cayenne pepper and 3/4 c. lemon juice in tonic #2 I would mix up a little gruel of water and slippery elm powder to pave the way. It helped immensely.

I made a v8 juice with garlic once ..like the recipe said, and it burned my mouth. I think the recipe from this website under recipes section. Does taking chlorella actually do anything you can feel? I had one bad experience. I ate a whole lot of raW nori once and I got really dehydrated.

About Nori. I ordered nori online was eating it. I had a meditation and asked to be shown how to protect my family from all harm. Then I went to cupboard and got out some nori and saw that it was farmed in Japan. So I threw it out. I am soooo paranoid about fukushima. I know I know..but I have kids and baby and I just cant risk it. Even the idea scares me. I am done with nori unless it comes from Atlantic ocean.

I don't think it does, though. I buy my dulse through seaveg.com which is the Maine Coast brand and I believe they get theirs from some Asian country.
