Fuyu persimmon - Is this normal???

Hi everyone!

Below is the URL to the picture of the fuyu persimmon I bought recently.

Bought these at a local produce store. When I sliced them open, noticed these black dots. All of the persimmons have them. Never encountered it before. Is this normal? If not, hazardous at all? Thanks in advance!

Looks like spice, like a dash of cinnamon. I know its not but it looks like.

Could be fukushima.

I am looking at some forums discussing...some headlines: · Page 1 of Persimmon ripening ... a few small black spots or even streaks are OK,

persimmons: the Fuyu, ... They may occasionally have dark spots caused by sunburn,

Upon further googling I found that when black spots are on the leaves that is a bad sign. But I think the flesh is ok. Skin too. But leaves no.

I don't have the answer. But I been looking to see what others say.

I was joking about fukushima.

I've seen dots like that in persimmons. Inmate them, and I am still alive.

Wow Prana- you have been an inmate with a persimmon?
What were you two in for? Or did you mean you mated with one?
