tyramine in ripe bananas

Is it possible to become sensitive to tyramine over time? I've been eating bananas for over a decade but recently have been getting migraines. Today I got a migraine immediately after drinking a green smoothie with 3 overripe bananas. I used to always use frozen bananas until recently. I'm making warmer smoothies lately though and the bananas are more ripe than I'm used to. Why would I be sensitive to tyramine now?

It may not just be the food, the migraine can develop if the food is taken in conjunction with some drugs. [www.webmd.com]

Ice cold foods notorious for causing headaches, no?

I do not know the answer but my grandma told me that bananas have too much potassium in them. She went on and on.

Yes, it's called "brain freeze" or "ice-cream headache".
