Raw maca: have you had good results with it?

Date: February 10, 2015 04:03AM I have a pound of maca I've been storing in my freezer. It expires next month in March 2015. Due to being in the freezer, I am assuming that it will be good past that but I am motivated to use it up. I have heard good things about maca and have used a little of it but didn't feel different. Of course, it would probably take a while for it to kick in, I imagine.
Just looking for some feedback on people who have used maca. That is all. Re: Raw maca: have you had good results with it?

Maca is used to promote sexual functions but raw living foods do that already. Your sexual abilities get naturally balanced on raw food. Maca is widely used by those eating SAD, it is a dietary viagra Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 02/16/2015 08:17PM by RawPracticalist. Re: Raw maca: have you had good results with it?

Date: February 17, 2015 12:50AM I'm not necessarily into any powdered items, but maca personally to me doesn't taste good. If it's a small ingredient in a raw dessert or something that I might have infrequently and I can't taste it, that's fine. Re: Raw maca: have you had good results with it?

Date: February 17, 2015 06:37AM ask matt monarch or david wolfe. veritable fountains of information on maca.
Goji berry plants can survive winter temperatures as low as -40 celcius (-40 F) and summer temperatures as high as 38 celcius (100 F). david wolfe just said he was out picking goji in 125 degrees. hmm. [www.youtube.com] Re: Raw maca: have you had good results with it?

I am not using it for that. I am trying to heal my adrenals... @Utopian Life: Yup, it has a bit of a flavor but with the right ingredients it's not so bad... Mimi Kirk has a great recipe/ 1 tb maca in hot water with sweetener or choice, like maca raw coffee. I like this one but it does get clumpy. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/19/2015 05:29AM by coconutcream. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
