"The gods created certain kinds of beings to replenish our bodies...they are the trees, the plants and the seeds." -Plato

"And we have made of ourselves living cesspools, and driven doctors to invent names for our diseases." -Plato

“Whatever deceives men seems to produce a magical enchantment.” -Plato

Indeed, Cooked Food produces a magical enchantment as most people seem to be under its Spell.

Peace and Love.......John

Cooked food is instant gratification with all of its flavors.
The smell, the sight are all appealing for the immediate gratification.
We want to have fun now, we do not care about the future, the disease state.

Raw food is delayed gratification, we resist the temptation of immediate reward, for a later, more lasting reward.

At a dinner party, french fries will go fast while dishes of raw green salads will take more time.

But it is the same choice we have in about every day life situation, do want to drive carefully observing the speed limit or drive very fast with the chance of accidents and a speeding ticket.

The original sin is not thinking and going for instant gratification.
