What Did You Eat Yesterday???

Just doing a little survey, for my curiousity and mainly for ideas! Here it goes:

What did you eat yesterday.. EXACTLY.. or atleast as exact as you can recall.

Here's mine for an example and to kick this off:

Morning:

Apple Cider Vinegar w/8oz water
Vitamineral Green Powder, 2 big tablespoons with 8 oz water
meditation - 30 minutes (it is food you know.. smiling smiley )
Mega Energy Smoothie consisting of:
1 cup of Rejuvelac
5 leaves of kale
sunflower sprouts
broccolli sprouts
sprouted mungbeans
sprouted sunflower seeds
1/2 advocado
Goji Berries
Coconut Oil
Small apple for taste

That literally gives me an overwhelming vibrational current of bliss throughout my body for the next 2-3 hours, putting the living sprouts, and sprouted seeds and beens into my being.. It's a bit of a struggle putting that concoction down the hatch that early in the morning, but I'm used to it, and I'm motivated by how I'll feel after it's done.


Snack

Celery with Almond Butter
Carrots and Celery with homemade Raw hummus aka living hummus..


Lunch

Huge Beautiful, Colorful, Salad with a full rainbow of veggies and homemade dressing.. lots of red, orange, yellow pepper, green onion, celery, cucumbers, spinach, romaine, carrots, sprouted sunflower seeds, pine nuts the other 1/2 advocado from my smoothie..

Snack

Sundried tomato and Basil Flax Seed Crackers with tahini and a little agave.

Dinner

Spicey chopped Kale and Carrot Salad to start
Nori Rolls (So fun and easy to make)


Desert (after dinner digested of course!, ok maybe not totally digested I get excited) I don't eat this every night for it's not the best food combining, but it's better than ben and jerry's.. smiling smiley

2 frozen bannanas
Big handful of Blueberries
Handful of Rasberries
Chilled Mango
3 tablespoons Coconut Oil
2 tablespoons of Agave
1/2 cup of Water or Raw Almond Milk (homemade)
Blend together until smooth pour into large bowl
Add a few blueberries to garnish for a nice look
Store in freezer for 45 minutes or until the rest of your dinner is digested smiling smiley
Comes out like an amazing tropical frozen sorbet..

I used that desert sparingly, really sweet and frozen.

Would love to hear what you ate during your day yesterday, or today or on a typical day. It inspires me to hear how others creative side or purely simplistic side comes out on their raw path during the day..

YUM! OK, here's what I had today since it's almost yesterday....

Upon Rising:
1 oz. E3Live
1 oz. fresh wheatgrass juice

Breakfast:
A big hunk of watermelon
After that digested some grapes

Lunch:
My version of Raw Tacos
I used romaine as the taco shell, added carrot shreds, sunflower sprouts, fresh basil salsa, fresh garlicy guac, minced cukes, and chopped nuts on top....YUM and satisfying...had about 5 or 6 of those.

Snack:
Fresh young coconut from my Palm tree

Dinner:
Corn Salad
(8 ears of corn shucked, 1 diced red onion, chopped basil, 5 T apple cider vinegar, 5 T olive oil, salt and pepper)

Snack:
Grapes and a Luna Bar

Hey, I don't know where you are doing your grocery shopping but I just discovered this awesome website where they deliver organic produce to your house! I woke up this morning to a whole kitchen full of fresh fruit and veggies with just a few clicks of my mouse! And the delivery fee is only $10 which is totally worth it to skip the long lines and crummy parking at Whole Foods...and the produce is CHEAPER!

Also here's a local website that delivers Raw food like pies, crackers and desserts...I just placed an order but haven't gotten it yet. I've tried alot of their stuff at Whole Foods and it was excellent.

Gawd, I cannot LIVE with out my E3Live...I totally love it! I think it's so much better than all those green powders (I think I've tried every one!) When I was transitioning into raw it really helped me get through cravings. If I wanted something bad I just had a tablespoon and it satiated me.

Also, it has all your B vitamins and tons of protein. My day's not complete without it. smiling smiley Makes me happy.

OK, here goes:

Breakfast smoothie
1 cup fresh young coconut meat
1.5 cups fresh pineapple
1 medium banana
2 tbs hemp seeds
1 tsp flaxseeds
2 tbs goat whey
3 tbs ginger root
1 tsp cinnamon
5 cups (relatively) fresh spinach
water plus ice

Lunch
fresh juice
4 carrots
3 celery stalks
1 english cucumber
1 gold beet root
chunk of ginger root
1/2 lemon
1/2 large fugi apple

Snackie
2 fish oil caps
2 evening primrose oil caps
1 brazil nut
12 almonds
1/2 ounce pumpkin seeds

Next snackie
3 plums
1 banana

Dinner
1/2 English cucumber
1 large tomato
1/4 medium sweet onion
1/2 apple from morning
1 cup beet greens and stems
cumin
himalayan salt
pepper
apple cider vinegar

Dessert (about 1 hour later)

1 medjool date
3 cups globe grapes with seeds

Yummie!

That whole thing was about 1900 calories, lots and lots of magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, etc. Quite calming, very filling!

This is such a wonderfu lifestyle, I'm enjoying it so much!

Plus I have a huge stash of fresh coconuts for my morning smoothies....and the mangos are just about ripe enough for later this afternoon!

Gosh! You guys are eating a lot of groceries. I need a better job!

Breakfast:

Smoothie of blended mangoe, a banana, and a Georgia peach with coconut milk and a teaspoon of flax meal

Snack:

handful of almonds

Lunch:

carrot and cucumber juice blended with an avocado

Snack:

Chunks of watermelon

Dinnah:

salad of tomatoe, cuc, spanish onion and cilantro dressed with olive oil, realsalt and lemon juice

small bowl of brown rice (cooked)

Dessert:

a square of extremely dark chocolate (a weakness)

I love the prepared raw foods, plus I was busy yesterday, so I just went to Mothers Market and bought the prepared raw food.

1) No guilt raw brownie made by Suma
2) Raw pizza made by Back to life
3) 16 oz fresh juice cucumber, celery and carrot
4) Falafel made by Back to Life
5) 4 young coconuts and drank the water and ate the coconut (throughout the day)
6) 2 8 oz glasses of raw organic milk
7) 8 oz of raw nutty surprise made with almonds and cashews creamed, with chopped veggies and yam (I don't think the yam was raw) a yummy new dish at Mothers.

I usually eat more fresh fruits and prepared my own meals.

1PM 5 lbs watermelon, chewing seeds thoroughly

3PM 4 dates

5PM giant salad
1 head romaine
1/2 head iceburg (i was given 10 heads. i know, no food value,
but kinda fun and reminiscent of the 60's)
5 torn nori
fresh oj/red pepper/ginger dressing

7PM 3-4 lbs watermelon

and here's what my foster dog chose over a big juicy bone!!!


p.s. she's available for adoption!!! very sweet, smart, well mannered
and cute as heck.

lentil sprouts
pea sprouts
onion
sm. handful of pumpkin seeds
sm. handful of raisans
tomato
drizzle of garlic chili flax oil
half a squeezed lemon
nama shoyu
nutritional yeast
a little agave

9 pm.
6 apricots (soo good!)
sm. bunch grapes

morning all before 10:00: 2 oranges, 1 cup grapes, 2 bananas, spinach, 2 celery sticks

1:00- fruit salad,2 bananas, green salad

4:00- 1/2 Persian melon

5:00- 1 avocado in a rouquette soup, 20 minutes later I had a green salad

Simple as that. I can't eat much fat when it is hot so sometimes I skip things with fat.

OOoo...I LOVE avocados! This thread is fun! It's cool to see what everyone is eating.


Upon rising:
1 oz wheatgrass
(out of E3 live but I get some t/row! )
1/2 and 1/2 glass of OJ and water

Breakfast:
Hand full of grapes

Snack:
1 mango

Lunch:
Huge salad of mixed greens, red onion, cukes, tomato, sunflower sprouts, almonds, broc. florets and Tahini Herb dressing.

Snack:
1 piece of Raw chocolate pudding pie - YUM

Dinner:
Nutty Nanner Smoothie
Some almonds blended with water, agave nectar and a banana


Guess I had a sweet tooth today...ha ha!

Breakfast: bowl of lychee

Lunch: bowl of lychee, 1/4 cup unhulled sesame seeds, 1 handful goji berries

Dinner: 2 raw nori wraps using 1/2 avocado, red leaf lettuce, bok choy, alfalfa sprouts, cucumber sliced very thin, green onion, grated fresh ginger, raw wheat germ (prepackaged), fresh cilantro, lots of lemon juice.

Snack: 2 oranges

Just started making the nori wraps last week. I'm hooked!

Here's an amazing Nori Roll filling (rice substitute).. Spread this on a leaf of dry romaine ontop of the Nori sheet. I use the romaine so that the moisture from the vegetables doesn't break the Nori.

1/3 cup raw tahini
3 tablespoons unpasteurized miso of your choice
1 Tb agave or honey
1 clove garlic minced or 1/8 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp ginger minced or powdered
1/3 cup scallions minced
1 Tb Nama Shoyu or more to taste

Mix it together really good so the garlic and ginger are blended well into the paste and enjoy. It's also an amazing veggie dip..

Ok, here's what I ate:

Upon Rising:
5 T E3Live
1 oz wheatgrass
glass of water with splash of OJ

Breakfast:
Smoothie with OJ, strawberries, spirulina, and an apple.

Snack:
Watermelon bowl

Lunch:
Spinich Dip (4cups spin, avo, lemon juice, seasoning)
Flax Crackers
Red Pepper Slices
Small side salad (mixed greens, cukes, tomatoes, sprouts, onion and Herb Tahini Dressing)

Snack:
Couple dates
Luna Bar

Dinner:
Fresh Juice (A lot of carrots, a bunch of rainbow chard, 1 beet with the greens, and ginger)
