Markus Rothkranz has a new video out, and I must say it's outstanding. It features women in their 40s and 50s talking about their raw diet, and they all look phenomenal, it's incredibly inspirational.

I know it's not all about looks, but these kind of videos really make the average person sit up and take notice - great one to share on your social media to wake a few people up

Absolutely RawPracticalist I see so many ignoring their inner health/beauty and going instead for false eyelashes, false nails, etc etc, but it's always best to think from the inside out instead of the other way around.

The issue l have is that you never know what cosmetic surgery women have had these days, so none of these pictures and people mean much to me, + makeup can cover many things

The question l ask is why do the raw men generally age like most other people, but a bunch of women look very young and vibrant. I suspect many have work done and use make-up to cover flaws.

I do see some tired eyes in this video, so maybe the `so called' youth effects are exaggerated.

It is difficult to generalize but it seems to me that women are more health conscious than men. For many it is probably to regain the body shape after giving birth.

In most of the gyms I went to men are most in the weight lifting area getting to build more muscle while women are more into group exercise, aerobic and yoga for a full body workout. Men want more muscles women want to be healthier.

So to me the video is probably showing them in their real states.

I do agree with you TSM, there's certainly some fakery going on, with all those bright white teeth, bleached hair, baby smooth skin, plumped-up lips etc. Some are worse than others (naming no names, lol). I liked Elaine, she looked nice and natural, and at 51 was one of the older ones.

But I don't think they can lie about their bodies. Well I guess they could get work done, but they genuinely do seem to be doing it naturally by eating raw/healthy and working out.

And whether there is a bit of cheating going on, I still think the vid is inspirational for a mainstream audience who almost expect that Hollywood image. I'm 46 this month and I certainly don't look as perfect as these women - and I don't think any amount of raw food is going to change that. Genetics comes into play too.

And yes RP, women generally seem to embrace the whole holistic approach of exercise, changing things up rather than just lifting weights.

Fair point Organic1. But I think the overriding message of this video is 'get healthy and beautiful by eating real food and working out'. I think there's something about the vibrant beauty and confidence of these women that would make the average Joe really sit up and take notice, and hopefully start cleaning up their diet and eating better. Beyond that I guess people are free to choose if they want to be 100% anything or stick a label on themselves.

I think it's also good to remember that where Markus and Cara come from, and are located, are world mecca locations for the entertainment industry and so are crawling with thousands upon thousands of beautiful, smart, accomplished, talented, and health conscious people from all over the world who arrived thereabouts to throw their hats into the ring or to find a ring from someone who has "made it". There are MANY OUTSTANDING examples of women like these Markus has found who are on all sorts of diets. Here is one I happen to know from business dealings...

Not only was she 50 at the time she made this video she also has given birth to 5 children.

Wow Suez, she looks great! Bet she doesn't have to go to the gym either, all that hard work chasing after alpacas. When she mentioned people over 40 shouldn't wear short shorts I just assumed she was in her 40s, then I saw she was 51! And her hair... amazing. I was glad she tied it all back, I was getting worried she would shear herself by accident lol.
