substitute for lucuma powder?

Date: July 23, 2009 01:33AM i keep seeing this in recipes that i would like to try but is there something else i can use? i'm not so big on those fancy powders that come from tropical countries, i'd much rather use something grown closer to home, more affordable and easier to find!
