If you are eating anough juicy fruits and leafy greens, you probably don't need to consume much additional water. Go by how you feel--if you feel thirsty, drink some water and see if that helps.

The great thing about water is that it doesn't lie to you. I've never heard of someone overdrinking on water, or being addicted to it. If you're thirsty, definately drink some because thirst is the first sign of dehydration. Other than that, you could go by the color of your urine, which should be clear if you are fully hydrated.

Ha, oh wow. Well I guess a psychological addiction could develop for anything, however this seems much more rare than a food addiction, that was my point... thanks for the interesting link

I suppose tha I should revise my orignal statement to say that drink as much waster as you feel like you need until your urine is a very pale yellow or clear, which indicates that you are sufficiently hydrated. Yes?

The Daily Mail is a fictional newspaper. It's a parody of typical tabloid journalism.

Wow thank you all for your responses. I pretty much figured I would continue doing, "what feels good" for my body, which will be 32 ounces or less of distilled water as need be throughout my day!
Once again thank you all! I am new to this posting and getting answers thing!
Namaste!
