Date: September 24, 2009 03:26PM I have a bunch of concord grapes in my fridge, they can be time consuming to eat with the seeds. Wondering if I could throw them into the vitamix? Re: are grape seeds edible?

Date: September 24, 2009 03:36PM They probably won't kill you, but how do they taste to you? I don't like the taste of crushed grape seeds. When I eat concords, I swallow the seeds but I don't chew them, so I don't get any taste and they are not absorbed by my body. But if you blend them, you will taste the insides. Date: September 24, 2009 03:47PM I spit them out and I'm convinced it's a natural reflex, otherwise how come I occasionally swallow plum stones which are a lot bigger? But eat them if you want. They're not going to do you the slightest bit of harm... Re: are grape seeds edible?

Date: September 24, 2009 04:47PM The proanthocyandin componant of grape seeds may increase the chances for bleeding. So perhaps be careful if you have blood thinning medications or bleeding disorders.
