Ohhh is that why I couldn't get on for a few days? omg but I was having fits! Glad to be back!

So relieved the site's back up; thanks Web Master and hello everyone!

Nevermind. When I logged in last night, I was thrilled to see the forum back up and it was in a whole new (and COOL) format last night. Now I see that it's back to normal, but that's cool too. I'm just happy to see my RAW-FAMILY back again!!! =)

One change I notice now: I can't highlight a paragraph and copy it. Sometimes -- quite frequently, in fact -- people post really great information, and I'll copy and paste to a notepad with an appropriate caption for future reference. Now I'm going to have to transcribe it by hand, which is fine if it's not too long, but kind of difficult if it's a wordy passage.
Glad the Board is back, though!

Oh you're right. How annoying!! But I found a way. Just right-click and "select all" and copy/paste into another format (i.e. Notepad, etc.) Then you can select what you want to copy and paste. It's annoying and more work, but oh-well. We can't have everything can we? =) I don't understand why this forum has such a different format from the many other forums out there. The one on the Raw Freedom Community is much easier and a more standard format. Oh well. Just glad to have everyone back together again. =)

If it is a lengthy portion you want to save, instead of transcribing it, you could either:
right-click --> select all --> copy
or
click on edit --> select all --> copy
then paste it on notepad, word, etc
highlight and delete what you don't want and you end up with what you do want.

Otherwise, transcribing it may be faster.

It got me thinking about how often we only realise the true value of something when its no longer available to us!
I so missed this special haven!

The copy/paste seems to work on my system (Mac + Firefox).

Hello!!! Missed everyone.

sharrhan i think you are having the same trouble as me ... you see a little finger pointer rather then the arrow so it wont let you cut and paste right?

to get around it hover your mouse outside the the whole text box then click and drag over all the text you want to high light, long as you start out side the box you can cut and paste

geeze, here i thought i got kicked off already.
i came back and the next time i couldn't get on - i'm glad to know that it was because the site wasn't working.

The copy and paste bug is now fixed

Vincent (vnc) found the source of the copy/paste bug, reported it to me, and I forwarded to John who then corrected the problem.
