Before him, there were large mainframe computers.

Companies and students at universities had to use punch cards and large printouts to run computer programs. You will code your program into the cards and give them to the operators to load them into the huge computers and wait for hours to get the result. And when you had errors, how many rounds you had to make.

Bill Gates changed that. He had the vision, the world needed a desktop.
He worked with friends in a basement, in jeans, eating burgers, days and nights.
He built the first desktop computer, the first desktop operating system, msdos, and microsoft was born. Then he engineered msoffice with word, excel, powerpoint.

At that time, the computer programs that were running were for mainframes. Unix, Cobol, Fortran.

So the task at hand was huge, you had to build the hardware first, and then the software to run on that small computer. And you had to build them from zero.
And not least, you had to build a floppy disk to hold the program on it.
That is like going to the moon.


These technologies are at the core of business activities and classroom education in the world.

Even the billions he EARNED he used most of that money and his time for philanthropic work around the world.

The real devils are the drug dealers, the racial divide promoters, gangs, the jihadists.
