Being around very masculine men (who you desire to emulate) and/or very beautiful women (who you desire to copulate with) is said to raise it.

Also excersise.

Anything that stumulates human growth hormone should stimulate testosterone.

The experience of winning helps also. smiling smiley

Muscle training and eating lots of protein helps; hemp protein is awesome for working out.

Arvy,

I agree with you about hemp seed protein and I use maca powder as well. It's incredible for endurance and is known as the south american answer for viagra.

Marcos

haha, if those guys had lots of testosterone they'd be playing sports not watching them.

and I doubt excessive alcohol consumption is good for your hormones.

I can't believe the response I have had from the women on this web site about testosterone. You obviously have issues with men. If you don't like them, don't take it out on me. It's not my problem. All I asked was a simple question and got answers with loaded baggage attached to it. Please, if you can't respond to my question responsibly, then don't. Raw food must make women into men?

hey nedsin

the guys above are ALL men
RAWMARK
NARZ
sodoffsocks
and bryan

by your response, its obvious that you need a LOT more than a testosterone boost to level your emotions out

what the heck was wrong with their responses?

you asked a question

they went OUT of their WAY to answer it

they deserve a simple thank you

Trying to be funny about a serious question isn't funny, that's what is the matter. I asked a question and got answer's like watching sports will raise testosterone level's ? That sounds funny to all of you? Some women seem to dislike men/testosterone/ men in general, but yet they need what they dislike in men the most.

yohimbe and horny goat weed are supposed to raise testosterone levels.

tribulus terrestris is supposed to raise your levels of luteinizing hormone which would raise testosterone levels.

Improving - or even just developing - a sense of humor might improve your testosterone levels. Hormones are influenced by emotions, yes?

I interviewed Dr. Gabriel Cousens on Thursday. I asked him if there are any essential nutrients not found in raw vegan foods.

He said yes, there are three. One is B-12, the second is the long chain omega-3 fats DHA and EPA which can be found in the herb Purslane and in the Klamath Lake Blue-Green Algae,

and the third is Carnosine.

Carnosine is only found in meat. There is a vegan source of Carnosine and it is only available through 'Life Extension':

Carnosine is a multifunctional dipeptide made up of a chemical combination of the amino acids beta-alanine and L-histidine. It is found both in food and in the human body. Long-lived cells such as nerve cells (neurons) and muscle cells (myocytes) contain high levels of carnosine. Muscle levels of carnosine correlate with the maximum life spans of animals.

Carnosine levels decline with age. Muscle levels decline 63% from age 10 to age 70, which may account for the normal age-related decline in muscle mass and function. Since carnosine acts as a pH buffer, it can keep on protecting muscle cell membranes from oxidation under the acidic conditions of muscular exertion. Carnosine enables the heart muscle to contract more efficiently through enhancement of calcium response in heart myocytes.

Aging causes irreversible damage to the body’s proteins. The underlying mechanism behind this damage is glycation. A simple definition of glycation is the cross-linking of proteins and sugars to form non-functioning structures in the body. The process of glycation can be superficially seen as unsightly wrinkled skin. Glycation is also an underlying cause of age-related catastrophes including the neurologic, vascular, and eye problems. Carnosine is a unique dipeptide that interferes with the glycation process. When compared to the anti-glycating drug aminoguanidine, carnosine has been shown to inhibit glycation earlier in the process and also provides additive health benefits. The combination of taurine, carnosine, benfotiamine (unique synthetic variant of vitamin B1), and vitamin B1 provides a multifaceted, body-wide shield against increased aging caused by glycation.

Another one from Life Extension:

[search.lef.org]

Super MiraForte with Maximum Strength Chrysin

As men grow older, the testosterone responsible for libido tends to bind to globulins in the blood instead of stimulating the brain’s centers.

Natural plant extracts have been shown to enhance sexual desire, performance, and gratification. These extracts also have been shown to be free of side effects. Life Extension offers a standardized muira puama extract combined with a nettle root extract, zinc, Peruvian ginseng (maca), and chrysin in a preparation called Super MiraForte.

I agree! I love Maca and eat it pretty often. I find that I need a break from it after a while, I can't eat it every day.

Testosterone is a hormone. Maca and Goji Berries have both been reported to build hormones.

www.macamagic.com

I googled
goji berries testosterone

Found this:

Goji and Great Sex
... What Drives Your Sex Drive? Your libido (sex drive) is regulated by the hormone testosterone. Although classified as a male hormone, testosterone is produced by both men and women. As you age, your body produces less testosterone. The result? Your interest in sex may diminish significantly.

Revive Your Sex Drive
The noted herbalist Ron Teeguarden reports that in Chinese studies, goji was shown to markedly increase testosterone levels in the blood, increasing libido in test subjects.

~*~*~*~~*
From another Goji Berry article:

Goji berries contain polysaccharides which fortify the immune system. A polysaccharide found in this fruit has been found to be a powerful secretagogue (a substance that stimulates the secretion of rejuvenative human growth hormone by the pituitary gland). Goji berries have been traditionally regarded as a longevity, strength-building, and sexual potency food of the highest order.

is that right, nedsin?

u aren't just referring to testosterone, are you?
everyone knows that women also have some testosterone, just lower levels.

why would a woman dislike testosterone?

that's like saying women dislike their own hormones.

whatever

maybe you're hanging out with the wrong women

most women DON'T hate men

even though they drive us a bit crazy , sometimes

it's all good

+you want to raise your testosterone? curious, why? maybe lowering estrogen levels would equate? if you drink from plastic bottles or vessels you could be dosing yourself with an estrogen mimicing detergent chemical! thats' why i suggest getting a glass, or polycarbonate waterbottle [www.nutritionlifestyles.com]

+coconut/coconut oil will balance hormones

+read mike's info links on maca, goji berries and various herbs...
