I heard they are not totally raw. But I'm not sure. I eat them but I'm only high raw anyway.

No. They're not even labeled as "raw", they're labeled as fruit and nut bars and contian things like blueberry concentrate and raisins. And "Whole Food".. "whole food" isn't a key word for raw either..otherwise Whole Foods would sell nothing but raw foods and not things in boxes and cans.

I'll eat them once in a while but I'm also high raw not 100%.

We have some truly raw bars. Raspberry, cacao crunch, and lemon ginger. They are grainless, gluten-free, sugar-free, and soy-free. They are delicious.

I'll try another brand

On their website, it says some bars are raw but there is no label as such on the individual package, so...

TGR, I was talking about Lara bars, not yours.
Are your bars available in Canada?

Like Backagain said, some of their bars contain things like blueberry concentrate, raisins, etc. Some of their bars even have milk chocolate chips in them, so some aren't even vegan. However, I do think some of their bars are raw. Some contain only raw nuts and dates, and I'm pretty sure it does say raw on the label. I ordered a box one time and the box said "raw" although I know this can be deceiving....Anyways, I think you just have to be careful. Some are raw, but some are not.

I'm pretty sure some of them are labeled raw though. I don't think I've ever eaten any of them with ingredients other than dates, almonds and something else. But I've never seen concentrates or anything like that on the label. Granted I haven't tried them all.

We normally just ship in the US but I can add Canada to our shipping to allow you to order. Check the website tomorrow for Canadian shipping.

i think they are a total mystery and a half

i mean even nuts in bulk at the health food store say raw and they are not

i wonder if even THEY know cuz chances are
they aren't growing their own nuts in their backyard but buying it in bulk just like us

so unless they ask the producers of the nuts they are getting ( step number one)

they wouldn't know themselves

i doubt their cashew bars are raw
otherwise they would have to charge a lot more

i also doubt their peanut butter bars are raw
cuz of the same reason .... truly raw peanuts are expensive

maybe their pecan bars are raw

maybe we should all just grow our own nut trees and put an end to such mysteries ( that should't exist)

Bear in mind they will be buying these nuts in massive bulk due to how many they produce so they will be getting them for far less than us the consumer would buying a small pack.

There likely importing hundreds of kilos of nuts maybe even thousands.

I should correct myself. At my local health food store, we have Lara bars in many different flavors wrapped indivually. I looked at the wrapper of each and every flavor, and nowhere did I see "raw" on the label.

Did you go on their site? Companies will usually clear up these sorts of things because of the volume of queries...

Oh, thanks banana who. For anyone else wondering, I found this on their website. Scroll down to the "Raw Diet" section.
