Date Sugar

Date: September 23, 2006 06:56PM I recently noticed date sugar at the health food store. It was in the bulk bins. I'd never noticed it before. Is is raw? Does anyone know how it is processed? Thanks.

Date: September 24, 2006 08:11AM you're better off buying whole dates, they're fresher, still have some water content (especially if very fresh as they will be soon as date seasons comes around) and taste much better than any powdered sugar (in my opinion).
