Date: October 02, 2006 02:30PM I'm currently using some to help me with my acid reflux problems. It's supposed to be good for the whole digestive system. Does anyone know if it's raw?
Thanks! Re: Is Aloe Vera gel raw?

Date: October 03, 2006 02:50PM I actually called the company that makes the gel and asked how they prepare it and they pasturize it by heating to 180 degrees. Somebody else told me to buy a aloe vera plant and use the fresh gel, then it's raw.
Do you think that using fresh aloe has any special health benefits? Re: Is Aloe Vera gel raw?

When I lived in Melbourne, Florida my landlord has dozens of aloe plants growing outside him house. They were sweet and mild to the taste not bitter like many aloe plants I've tried. I wish I knew what species they were! THere is a lot of research showing aloe as very healing. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
