You know, a meer friend will always agree, a true friend will disagree smiling smiley. In a nice way...

BW and I b!tch at each other all the dang time, lol! But I actually really like her, her comments, her down to earth approach and how she makes light of things she doesn't agree with by poking fun. She's got a better sense of humour than I do and is easier with levity, it's a good reminder to me not to be too serious.

I think there are some great examples of conflict resolution on this forum. Nice that we're mostly adults with our heads on straight...

Damn straight, we're mostly mature adults here, and that's why we can settle minor disputes amicably. The difference of late is that it appears that some have come here with the specific intention to cause conflict. Well, at least that's how I see it.

Personally, I'm mostly pretty open to another's perspective, and it takes awhile for me to catch on when someone is being deliberately contentious. But that's cause I don't initially look for it, I give people the benefit of the doubt that they're sincere. Moreover, I've learnt a hell of a lot on this forum as a consequence. I've even improved my vocabulary, like 'umbrage' that Tam used recently on this thread. Tam, I've never even heard that one before, keep them coming lol smiling smiley

Tamara has an excellent command of language and larger than normal vocuabulary but also doesn't throw big words around. I agree.

Geo on your former point, I absolutely agree. I've tried selectively to notify Prana when I saw a foul or subterfuge (person x get the boot and sends in his proxy, all too common). that said it's still here sometimes subtle. but even the best troll makes ripples.... we just have to look and be mindful.

Best.

Paul

Paul and Coco, please stop derailing the thread with your trolling and resort to PMing. This is not Chat-Ville; posts are expected to be more than a one liner. This thread has gone from being one of the most if not the most informative threads on the first page to one of the very average ones. Thanks for your understanding.

I don't think it's so much to ask that people who claim to know health prove that they wear that health. Now that things have settled down, I make that request respectfully. You suggested that I was an "omnivore" in a note sent to my e-mail address. It's kind of hard to not think that you were speaking to me. You also directly asked me if I'm "Duke."
