Date: July 01, 2013 02:54PM The sodium fluoride added to most water systems isn't natural, but is a by-product from aluminium and fertilizer manufacture. Calcium fluoride is natural, and may not be present in your spring water if that's what you drink.
From my research back in the 70's, the only filtration system to remove fluoride is by reverse osmosis. I guess distilled water would as well, but I'm not sure. As far as losing natural mineralisation is concerned, I'd rather lose those minerals than to constantly ingest fluoride. Back in the 60's, when sodium fluoride was being added to urban water supplies, there was much debate over it's safety. Though now, as so much time has passed, it's difficult to convince people of the dangers anymore. It's been taken for granted, and the general knowledge is that it's good for you and anyone who speaks against it is either uneducated or just plain stupid. The same is true with cooking food and eating animal products etc. I use a portable reverse osmosis unit, coupled with two extra carbon filters. The importance is to write down when you changed your filters and change them at the appropriate time. jalan Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
