Date: December 30, 2014 07:02PM I am still uncomfortable with making it a regular part of my diet. But I do it sometimes.
A lot of the good stuff is in the fibers which are removed. I agree it's a good way to get more greens in your diet. But I don't like throwing away the pulp. (actually in my house nothing much is thrown away--it goes into the dogs' food). Also I think it's ok if you are already getting enough fiber. Probably not so ok if you are not getting enough fiber. I think there are pros and cons with just about everything. Re: People who juice v's people who don't juice - feedback from both groups would be good.

Date: December 30, 2014 07:33PM I think the value of the pulp is exaggerated.
I guess its best value iS that it helps slow down nutrients absorption But I keep the juice in my mouth long enough to get it digested properly Edited 1 time(s). 1). how often do you juice, what types of foods, and how many oz/ml do you usually juice? various. mostly greens with a sweet fruit like apples and herbs like parsley and mint, with lemon thrown in. i make approx 64 oz. at a time it could be once a day, once a week, once a month. depends on how many bananas i have 2). are you sometimes discouraged about juicing because of the clean-up involved? yes, but then I buy them already made at a local raw juice shop 3). do you get benefits from juicing that you can feel? yes Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
