Re. the mention of fasting on water for 15 days, I did a 15 day water fast in 2008 (albeit while relaxing by the ocean on a camping trip, so I was in a nice natural setting, and I didn't have any obligations or major tasks that had to be done -- just making tea and preparing super-simple meals for Jonathan, walking and swimming)... and I have to say, it was one of THE MOST AMAZING experiences of my life, incredibly healing and wonderful. I lost a little bit of weight (not too much, by any means), and felt like a newborn when it was over. Would have gone longer, but we had to pack up our gear and go take the boat back to Boston, and I sensed I just kind of had to stop at that point.

How can you fast on water for so long without developing problems? Do you meditate and/or sungaze a lot?

Oh wow, Swimmer, I love that -- thanks, I'm gonna steal! :-)

anon101 -- I heartily agree. I keep meaning to scale that picture down to the next level; I never intended it to be that huge.

YAY! I barely know my way around Photobucket anymore (I now use Lunapic and Fotoflexer), but I was able to go through the motions and reduce the size of this picture.

Yeah, it was...Actually, I was kinda pointing that out to kwan in my own twisted way.

kwan,
Hey there! Glad you like it. I was playing with a rotoscoping program I bought a couple years ago, but don't get a chance to use much. Funky, but powerful little thing. Thanks for shrinking your pic. It was a little too much. smiling smiley

You're welcome, Swimmer; don't know why I didn't do it long ago, because I didn't like it that large either.

Instructions on How to Eat a Sun Moon Sandwich

pay close attention to these instructions
for successful sun moon sandwich consumption
if u have any questions
ask
self

consume the golden rays of the sun
or the silvery light of moonbeams

the dark joy of moonlight
is the same as the light darkness of sun stream
spilling

aura is oracle
slashed infinitely

how many ways can you dissect a moonbeam
or capitulate mind to analysis

so consume the golden rays of the sun
or the silvery light of moonbeams

and see your mind reflected on water
as a still wave of silence

you

are

us

laughter continues to spill
over and over and over again

moonbeams and sunlight
spill out between ketchup mustard lettuce onion flaxseed pumpkin cracker

and demand to be eaten

alone

Might as well weigh in on this one...

I've never been on board with this guy and his type. A huge turn off is all the mystical "hoo-ha" that always surrounds this sort of thing. Most of them basically talk in circles, or riddles with no definite substance to what they are saying.

Never a website set up with tips, suggestions, instructions, etc. on how to live as a breatharian. (might be now, I haven't really looked in a couple of years)

BTW, what the heck is DW so amused about? He must be getting a warm fuzzy feeling from sitting beside Jerico...or is it Richard Blackman...?

I'm starting to lose track with all the different aliases.

Guess DW can't be totally on board with those beliefs, otherwise he would have to shut down the supplement sales, not the least of which include Deer Antler & Bovine Colostrum...ugh

And, yes, he is missing front teeth...as always the tats & multilpe piercing look atrocious...but I guess I feel that way 'cause I'm not "purified" enough to understand the whole concept (of smearing tatoos and poking unsightly holes in my body, that is...)

My feeling is that if I had something as earth-shattering as this that could so positively benefit the world/all of mankind, I would want to share it with all...

"to talk right down to earth in a language that everybody here can easily understand..."

Guess I've done enough damage for one post.

I stand corrected re. Genesis's teeth -- I saw the photo of his missing 2 front teeth on another website yesterday. I was going to post that photo, and then I thought better of it.
Regarding the veracity of so-called breatharianism (I prefer the Taoist term, 'bigu'), it looks to me, from years of reading about all of those who say they are doing it, that only a very tiny fraction of them understand the concept and really practice inedia or bigu.
I don't know whether Jericho/Genesis is 'real' or not. I withhold judgment because I haven't heard any proof that he doesn't, but I also haven't seen any proof that he really does it. Out of respect for my friend, I assume he is telling the truth, and I don't make too much of the fact that he lost a couple of teeth (sad, though). Joachim Wurden (sp?), another breatharian, had the same thing happen. Not my cup of poison, but who am I to judge?
Breatharianism, btw, doesn't necessarily demand that one never ever drink or eat again. It means you live on the 'seed energy' of the universe (which I differentiate as being unrelated to the 'sun energy' so many people try to absorb), and you are capable of living off of that energy alone, but you might choose, as a Chinese woman who has been breatharian for many years does, to have a treat once a week. (And she likes to *smell* an apple from time to time! Weird, eh?) She is a fashion designer, and she has a normal looking physique and hasn't continued to lose weight.
Another person who lives in this way is Michael Werner. He has a book in which he chronicles the time he spent being tested (for a month, I think?) in a hospital setting. I believe he is also a genuine bigu practitioner who has some alternate form of cosmic energy goin' on, but he drinks occasional beverages. He doesn't eat, though. And he doesn't continue to lose weight, and he continues to work as a scientist, as well as play tennis and live a normal family life.

I wish everybody luck on their path regardless of what their path is, I used to post here under this name years ago and I'm sad to see that nothing much has changed, still people hating, fighting and attacking, I'm happy to see glimpes of love being shared amongst all of this. At the end of the day none of you know what I do so none of you have a right to attack the way I talk, look or act, thats just down right nasty. I'm sure most of you are not perfect and know what its like to be attacked for being different or eating raw foods by people that think your killing yourself or dont believe that you can just eat raw foods. I dont care what people say or think because if your different people will always hate but the point I want to bring forth is that the hate should not come from you guys, this is the last place hate should come from but it shows that it really doesn't work that way and I think that this thread is a great example of how people that seek to change and better themselves should not expect support from like minded people because not everybody understands what your doing/going through or even wants to.

There is nothing you can say to people that refuse to listen. People say they want change/evolution but when it comes they shoot the messenger. This makes no sense. At the end of the day all I can do is share my experience with those that ask me to share it.

So on that note, its been nice to spend a bit of time on here looking back, its been nice to see some familiar names and I say a huge hello to those that I've communicated with back in the day. Much love to you.

G.

Glad to see you back.
Like life there is good and bad.
And we should see the bad in search of light. They need help and do not know it.

I remember you and if you are still alive and well it is another proof that fruits work.

If you say you are a breatharian, if this is guy is you...[jgsunfire.blogspot.com], then you harm the raw food movement by talking crazy and we all suffer by association. You can call people who don't believe you haters but that's just in your own mind. If not eating food made you coo coo and now you are better because you are eating again I'm glad for you and wish you well. I also wish you well if you are still claiming to be not eating but am glad you have decided not to talk about that anymore.

Simple question: Are you a breatharian? If yes, what's your proof?

I don't get the hosility people have against F1. He's doing his thing, and it's different than your thing. If someone asked me to prove I'm a raw vegan, I'd tell them to f**k off. I have nothing to prove, and neither does F1.

I realize our society encourages us to have a small mind, but we don't need to listen to that voice, we can transcend that.
