"Its so good that he might not even stock it he says, its that good lol wut. If it had the potential to improve health as great as he says, surely he'd want to"

I think what he meant was that it is so good that he thought about keeping the information all to himself (ego), I could be wrong though on what he meant by that.

Amazon doesn't have them yet either. Guess we have to wait for the IPO, lol.

What form of vitamin D do they contain, D2 or D3?

This link says 3/4 cup provides 39% RDA of vitamin D, which is unheard of in plant-based foods.

Maybe D4 since Matt says it's a superfood that's never been seen before. Kind of like the Spinal Tap guitar with the volume that goes to 11.

Hm. That link's comment...

"The downside to Pichuberry though is that it's very high in fructose and fructose has been shown to actually accelerate aging. Also all seeds have a very low percentage of absorbable protein meaning it may be high in protein but you def won't be able to absorb that much of it unless germinated."

These are Matt's offerings...

Reishi Triterpene crystals.

Reishi spore powder.

Reishi spore oil packed in gelatin capsules - (I checked his site)

As I don't know where he gets his mushrooms and don't have any of the diseases he says they are known to be good for I'll take a pass.

***I bet the mushrooms are from the Fukushima fallout zone in NW Canada. Be careful because mushrooms soak up fallout like a sponge.

maybe cultivated reishi does not have the drawbacks of wild Chinese or Japanese mushrooms [www.foursigmafoods.com] If I were to buy, I would go for a reputable company like le maybe

not a raw product, quoted from the link:

"To prepare Reishi for use in health products, the mushrooms are cut into small pieces and boiled for three hours. This boiling process is repeated three times to extract all the medicinal properties of the mushroom. After the boiling the mushroom extract is air-sprayed drier to transform the concentrated liquid to a instant powder form. In a nutshell this is how high quality Reishi is produced."

Not raw =/= not extremely beneficial for health.. again we need to break free from this cult-like mentality.

I purchased some of the reishi spore triterpene crystals, just received them today and took 1/2 tsp. About 15 mins after ingestion, my pineal gland started buzzing and continues to provide a tingling, ticklish sensation in the middle of my forehead.

The company I buy shiljit from decided to more meet raw vegans requirements by not heating it above 117F. My latest order is the most disgusting tasting stuff I've ever tasted. I am having to boil it around 10 minutes everyday to get it tolerable and to the same color and taste their old "raw vegan" product was. I'm very suspicious now of Omica. I wonder how they processed it. Raw shilajit is warned against so what could they be doing now to sterilize it? I am not going to be happy if I find out they're nuking it. I'm stuck with a half kilo of this crap.

Yeah, I just preordered some. The reviews are positive and there are sometimes I could use more emergency energy.

At about 20 minutes into the video he says the next shipment should be in in a week or two. Now it's sold out.

Besides the buzzing pineal gland, it seemed to enhance my focus and I felt a very, very subtle high lol. I took it about an hour after eating so I probably didn't get the max effect. I'm going to test out a full teaspoon tomorrow on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning (after distilled water). I also had to take advantage of the black gelatinized maca ($20 off). Again, not technically a "raw" product but has a substantial amount of scientific literature behind it.

Do you think it's for real or a placebo effect?

"Do you think it's for real or a placebo effect?"

I wasn't expecting my pineal gland to start buzzing/tingling so I think it's for real, plus there's a vast amount of science behind reishi and has been a staple in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years.

"a warning about too many raw mushrooms (AGARITINE): [nutritionfacts.org]"

It's not a raw mushroom, it's pure triterpene crystals (the most potent constituent of the reishi mushroom). And it may not be raw.

I take just the regular mixed colors maca. The only differences I notice between the raw maca with fiber and the cooked fibreless maca is that the cooked is far more potent and tastes better. I don't know whether this is due to the concentration of the fibreless gelatinized maca nutrients, volume wise, or the cooking process, or some combo of these factors which adds to the potency. Then there's also the possibility that the raw maca's fiber adheres to the nutrients and gets flushed through the system undigested.

All of the scientific literature I've read is specifically about the cooked maca. Haven't seen any on the raw. The tradition for taking maca is always in it's cooked form. Maybe there's more to that then just hygiene concerns. Tavis recommends taking it in it's raw form. I now take the gelatinized.

Matt always makes me smile with his marketing. Take this, and take that, and you too can be flying high as a raw fooder. And next month comes out another product that can help us get even higher. I just laugh at such talk.

The answer is so simple to getting these natural energy and spiritual highs, yet according to some marketers we can achieve even bigger highs from buying non-fresh extracts from all over the world.

Matt can't lose on this. Why? Because according to a study done (can't find it right now) there is a measured placebo effect of 30%. So even if people asked for refunds, there is still going to be many positive testimonials that will drive the market. Matt is a smart businessman and knows many struggling keen raw fooders will try almost anything to find that magic bullet that will make them successful.

I might watch a few minutes of the video for a smile.

Do we really need packet foods to achieve success, or do we have the power in our own hands? Maybe if l buy all the packet superfoods l will be even more successful? Or maybe l could ditch home grown foods and eat superfoods entirely and be like superman.

Interesting. Please let us know in a month how you are going with it.

Personally l have no interest in trying or recommending such expensive such products, but if people get a placebo or real benefit, that is great.

Sproutarians teach diets for the common man, never a diet to the cashed up. Goes against the spiritual nature.

I use it to top up the diet, I know that sprout/grass juices are optimal and should be the main portion of the diet, but I think certain super foods may enhance any diet, as long as you aren't relying strictly on them. Something like reishi spore triterpenes would also be great for someone battling disease. Especially in the polluted and toxic environment we live in, it may be a good idea to have added barriers of protection.
