This is the second raw food Youtube site this week I've seen taken down. Are the abundance seekers taking each other out or is something else going on? Anyone know?

im not really surprised by this. a lot of his video have outrageous titles --- "HEAL CANCER WITH RAW FOOD DIET"

i know kristina had an anti-cancer vid but preventing and "healing" are different things. one you cannot say.

The other one taken down was Tannyraw. I found another temporary site she set up before her channel was reinstated and apparently a "world wide group" of mother's of young people who have eating disorders swooped down on Tanya like a hive full of hornets when she advised a young listener who said she had an eating disorder and who's mother and "health care professionals" advised against the hclf raw diet that Tanny is on.

Here is one of the comments that was left...

"We have the screenshots of her interactions in the comments and she directed a video directly toward Emily Vegan Flower. YouTube doesn't do this on a whim. We have evidence and will continue to be watching. She needs to post a disclaimer "I have no educational background or credentials in nutrition. This diet is not suitable for those under 18. Anyone with a history of eating disorders should consult with their treatment team before undertaking this diet. Easy-peasy."

It seems that the home hive organization the hornets who had Tanny's Youtube channel temporarily taken down was this one...

Check out their dietary recommendation to a parent who's child is a vegetarian with an eating disorder. They say the child can't get the recommended 3000 calories on a vegetarian diet. Un effing believable you've just got to read it,,,

Durian rider, who sounds like he might have had a few teeth knocked out of his head by someone, or something, thinks the main reason Dan got shut down by YouTube was all the hawking of stuff he does.

Although he does give a nod in passing to probably what was the real reason - Dan's weight loss and low calorie intake tapes.

I'm going to point my finger towards this Maudsleyparents.com posse of mothers of kids with eating disorders. Judging from what they did to Tannyraw they seem to be on the Youtube warpath.

Just found out that Durian rider has requested Tanny to contact him. Now THIS is the sort of thing happening that I hoped for when I started this thread so I'm happy.

The recipe pdf on their site is appalling junk. JHeez how's a kid supposed to recover faced with @#$%& food their naturally reject...

I know, isn't that pathetic?!! They should call it "The Worst of SAD Cookbook".

It wouldn't surprise me if a goodly proportion of those kid's problems originally stem from their intuitively understanding things like meat and dairy were not right for them to eat. I never could stand them and knew they were affecting me badly from a very young age. Still I was forced to eat that way. Didn't find out until I was an adult how much better life was without eating that way and that my childhood intuition was right all along.

This takedown of the liferegenerator site may be different that the other raw foodist ones that have been taken down. One of his old videos I went to had a different message than the rest. It said it was taken down due to copyright infringement.

I remember it raised an eyebrow for me when Dan moved to Sedona and started talking about some new people there he was adding to his productions. I wondered whether his regular old people, his video producers/ regenerationnation.com crew and his former girlfriend, Krista, were OK with that maneuver. If I were them I would have considered that some writing on the wall for sure. Anyway, I'm just wondering and don't know anything except it appears generationnation.com is now for sale...

I don't know if it's the same one but he did a video when he was at the WFF and he put it up for about half an hour then took it down and he was raging drunk talking about fighting Mike Tyson, eating skinless chicken breasts, making out with some woman and drinking wine.

I watched it like 3 times and I kick myself for not recording it...(I could have been rich! His "I've been sober for 5 years", video is complete bullshit, but whatever makes him feel better and/or gain more audience.

I have some of his tapes because, quite frankly, his raw vegan recipes are a lot better than the rest I found on YouTube and I like good food. He also was the best youtube coach, for me, in staying raw when it was hard to. Too bad I, and most people, didn't stop there instead of paying money for his website which was blow chunks bad - he totally sucked at that and it was a total rip off. Apparently he was under the impression that people were just paying him to show him some love or something crazy like that. That's when a lot of people started to see through him and be repulsed at the monthly rip-off off.

I've learned my lesson as have many others that got off that train. I think he's going to have to focus on raw newbies from now on. There will probably be an endless supply of those due to his charisma which I believe he is well aware of is his ticket. I'm sure he realizes, as hopefully most people do, that he doesn't know what he's talking about and just watch for the recipes cheerleading. In the end he is far more gullible than his customers, IMO.

Whatever is going on I'm sure Dan will milk his fan's suspense for all it's worth rather than divulge the reason for it. He's been to Matt's marketing 101 class and has learned how to collect web addresses. Click$, click$, click$.
