saw dr. normal walker's book on juicing read a little on it then he said asparagine ( from asparagus) juice has alkaloids that help flush out oxalic acid in the joints and other bodily systems ( maybe lymphatic? ... was in a hurry to get out of the store so i kind of just skimmed it) anyhow, any thoughts on this? he also said that oxalic acid is not to be worried about in raw foods only in cooked foods i had his book a while back but then gave it away so i recall that is he just making that up? or is there any proof that oxalic acid only causes problems in cooked foods but not raw foods i would love to not have to be concerned about oxalic acid in spinach but if i do spinach juice maybe i'll combine it with the asparagus juice any thoughts on this super scintillaing subject? lol Re: oxalic acid flush via asparagus juice

When I juice beets I get mild join pain (knee). But I can eat all the dark greens I want and I all ok. Some oxalates create different crystals that produce different feelings. They are not all the same (thought they have one single verbal label) Re: oxalic acid flush via asparagus juice
