So this week Freelee posted a video claiming that in recent months Kristina called her worried about gaining weight on fruit. Freelee advised not doing any more water fasts or juice feasts.

In "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead," an obese man dropped a ton of weight by juice feasting. Freelee would claim that it screws up the metabolism since the body is being deprived calories. But the whole concept of juice FEASTING is getting in a lot of calories from the juice.

Freelee has juice and water fasted herself. I have wondered if that is what got her metabolism humming again--cleansing herself first. I find it hard to believe that a short fast would hurt the body in any way.

Where did Freelee claim Kristina called her asking for advise in recent months?! I very highly doubt that would have happened after all what's gone down between those two.

What I heard Freelee say was "Kristina contacted me previously distressed at her weight gain..."

"Previously", used in the context Freelee used it there, was a slick weasel tricky way of saying nothing meaningful while intending for the listener to think something of value has been said. Like when a cab company says "your driver will be there shortly" for example.

One of the problems l see with fruit juice feasting for calories is the lack of fiber. Indigestable fiber is very important to function as a prebiotic to keep bacterial balance in optimal condition and for uptake of minerals from the food. The indigestable fibers/sugars in food plays a critical role in foods despite what many raw food people claim. And if you take the fiber out of fruit juice it can lead to weight gain because a person doesn't have the fiber bulk to stop them from feeling so full, so people will tend to consume more calories. It is important to look at the full picture and not see diet in such an isolated and partial perspective like Freelea and many others are doing.

Another issue is the lack of fiber possibly contributing to blood sugar inbalances. I know people will swear it is all wrong and not an issue at all, but it is an issue for many people. Also...the digestive enzymes with cellulase (it digests indigestable cellulose) has also been reported to destablise blood sugar levels in some people also.

I went back to the watermelon ice video and this is what I found from Freelee from a day ago:

"I like how you skirt around the question like a politician but notice you don't deny contacting me? Because you know you did. Yes like you said "IN MONTHS" you haven't spoken to us that is true but as I said you contacted me 'previously' and you know it. I can't believe you would deny that Kristina? Really? You would never deny that to my face. We both know you asked for help about your weight gain and that's nothing to be ashamed of. We skyped about it a number of times. I told you to stop juice feasting/ having green juice for meals, going to bed so late and said you were on the rebound but you still looked healthier. Treating you horribly? Coming from the person who voted us off Woodstock fruit festival after all we've done for you over the years. Wow."

This post of Freelee's was followed by Kristina's reply that Banana Who posted above.

ah, "expert people" love to throw stones when someone gains some weight or whatever, rubbing the look how skinny I am, and my theory works (that raisin their image above the other expert). They put their theories above anything, even when they are ... crap. It is not a simple white/black game or my theory is above yours. Eating lots of fruit that will make some people gain weight when they eat more than they spend. That is like the Universal law of eating. If the "expert" was a sproutarian, there would be a different theory/explanation. I've seen some people eat fruit and gain weight but I myself always thought it was due to a complex hormonal change that throws the equation calories in/out out of whack. Many peopole had followed Freeles advised (eat all the fruit you can) and really got fat and nobody ever heard of them. There are many things that play a role in hormonal metabolism and it is hard to tell (unless you are an expert and know everything and the world is white and black)

I think that's already begun. I saw a video where she was eating out with Harley and they were joking about the people munching on cukes or what have you. And Harley with the usual: "That's okay if that's what you wanna do but this is more realistic and do-able." Something like that. And I do agree with him although it seemed to me that they are eating out most nights now. I have been following the daily vlog.

I somehow think this is DR but I hate saying that because it implies that Freelee is some dumb little woman without a mind of her own. I remember seeing her a couple of years ago and being turned off to her snarky tone. So I wasn't a fan but then somehow recently caught a video and she seemed a bit softer and warmer. So I subscribed to her channel and have been generally interested in what she has to say although it was a bit disappointing that they are now actively advocating for cooked food. I wish they would focus more on raw but it's not that big a thing.

I don't think there are many low life weasel tricks that Freelee and Harley won't indulge in on their way down. Seems to me that they are aware that their 15 minutes is almost up in the non-porn world ...

As long as they can keep on posting eye catching controversial titles on their youtubes, the money will always come in. People love controversy, people bashing and exposing others. Both know the formulae for getting youtube views/money better than any other raw fooder out there.

It doesn't mean they are bad people, it just means they like the temptation of dramatising the roll playing of mankind. We are all in a play in the illusion of the physical and the mind, for that is most people's true reality. It is just a case of good people falling for temptations of man created illusions, nothing more. When they learn who they really are, such behaviour will cease. But there are still two groups involved in this behaviour - the people making the movie and the people who want to watch the movie. For most people are in a movie of illusion.

It is so easy to generate youtube views and cash in. Write things like: "REAL LIFE ALIEN FOOTAGE, MUST SEE FOOTAGE!!!!!!" or "Brian Clement debunked" or "Raw Christina exposed" etc etc.

Personally l would rather offer value than cash in on cheap tricks that offer nothing of any substance. Fluff v's substance...generally people like fluff, but sometimes in the search for substance you come across lots of fluff that poses as lots of huff and puff, but alas is still fluff.

Thank you for filling me in on the gossip! I did not think they were talking- last I heard.

BTW I love Free and think she is cool, but since she now eats cooked food, I stopped following, I am sorry if that sounds judgmental. I just need to stay focused and stay 100% raw. My 100% raw vegan heroines and internet idols have changed, gotten younger too as the years go by.

Kristina is a smart business woman. AMAZING. I think she walks her talk. I did not know she stays skinny by waterfasting juice fasting. She has a bikini body challenge where at the end of two weeks she shows off her body. But I thought she follows her own menu plans, no?

I really want to bring up, that I am finally raw for raw food. I used to be raw to be loved, skinny, pretty, etc..and it was very confusing and hard with all the recipes or dogma, or groups..etc. Now I am raw for raw vegan food alone. I love it. I love making the recipe in my mind, by taste.

When I was watching Freelea vids I feel the focus was on the body. And she has a perfect one yes, but I felt myself while watching being judgmental of others, and its not the raw food, its the :carbs" that make a hot body..or look at her she is fat..( And there is an energy behind that judging other women's bodies, there is an energy and you decide if it is love or hate) and being lectured, I know, she isnt really talking to me, but to newbies.. etc..and the height of success is a flat belly..I mean, I do not know, maybe that is the secret to life, having a flat belly..I do not know..but to me, I am focused more on having raw vegan diet be REALLY EASY..etc etc. There is nothing bad I can say about Freelea, she has everything. She has mastered what she wants in life. But, it is not the same as what I want. I would really like a nice ass to be @#$%& yes..I would!! but I cannot make that my 24 hour focus. Due to my lifestyle. I have so much work ahead of me, mentally and so many people I deal with, and my own big family of four. To me, just being 100% raw is enough.
And she is no longer raw...so I am speaking of the past. I do not follow her anymore. I am focused on all raw. Vegan too.

But I am speaking of my own willpower, that I finally love raw vegan food for raw vegan food's sake. And not because I want a hot body, because I love the taste. I find it is SOOO Much easier to be a REAL raw vegan, for the taste alone and the beauty of fruits, and nature..that just a raw vegan for looks or power over people, superpowers, etc.

Does that make sense?

Everyone has something different they think raw vegan diet can give them.

Kristina. I think whoever does her videos is super talented, a production company? She is a business woman. She may stick around for 10-20 years we shall see. New school raw vegans seem to eat much healthier than old school ones. More natural hygiene than anything. I wish I can see more of her real life, and without lighting, on camera phone talking about @#$%& her boyfriend and her fight about. LOL. To make her more real. Its hard to believe in some of these youtube business people. Are they here to sell you stuff or do they want you to join their club as paying member, am I a client? or do they really love raw vegan food and are sharing.

I am always so paranoid about being frauded. Fooled.

I remember Harley and Freelee saying that a lot of these "gurus" really were eating cooked and claiming to be otherwise. I have a hard time swallowing that one for the simple fact that they are so obsessed and driven.

For Freelee to start promoting a high-raw plan is ingenious because it's way more do-able for most people coming from SAD and/or living in non-tropical climates. It just is. And if you could enjoy the same benefits of health without having to be "stuck with" 100% raw, who wouldn't do that instead?

The thing that I don't like about her videos is the emphasis on the outer. How someone "looks" is the least interesting thing for me. If it makes her FEEL better, then fine. But coming from an eating disorder, it comes across that she is still placing too much emphasis on externals. So I hope she evolves past that rather adolescent concern. Of course, it does draw in the younger women--under 30--whose chief concern is attracting a guy oftentimes, LOL. So maybe she's shallow as a fox?

I am honestly surprised that JR hasn't weighed in because he would know whether or not any of the claims about water/juice fasting and weight gain are accurate. Oh well, such is life...
