SueZ, I agree, no one should point out at the other for doing this or that if he himself isn't doing the right thing. One should look at his mistake first, then see the others' mistakes. And that goes for anything, not only for this particular situation we are talking about.

This is why I don't blindly do what others do. Even if I do follow them on Youtube as I'm interested in their evolution, this doesn't mean that I take for granted everything they do. I follow them all, but I choose what's best for me from all of them, I use the information that helps me evolve and reach my goals. I don't believe in the idea of a raw vegan guru/leader anymore, though I must admit that to me it sounded like a good idea when I first got interested in the raw vegan lifestyle, as I had someone to look up to and guide me along the way, build up my confidence and my trust, encourage me to try this lifestyle.

But given all the facts, nowadays it all comes down to being your own leader and following your intuition. The one guiding you must be your body. By communicating with your body every time, you understand how this diet works for you and what changes you have to make in order to reach your optimal health. All the today's raw leaders should be just a source of interesting ideas that you might try if they are good enough for you, and not the essential source of information. The true information about ourselves lies within us.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Raw vegan for life. Vegan for the animals. Raw for my health.
On the subject of falling off the raw vegan wagon:
It seems to me that a RV diet is much easier to stick to when we include sufficient fats - especially in the form of whole foods like avocado, coconut, nuts and seeds.
According to contemporary science, we need fats to help us absorb essential fat-soluble vitamins: A, D, E, and K. (among other reasons).
Thankfully, the rest of the planet's herbivores don't need such information. They just eat these foods because they taste/feel good.
Anyway, just my 2 cents and humble opinion; because personally, I know I get really hungry when I don't have my chia and sunflower seeds or whatever. If it weren't for those foods, I'd probably be eating vegan pizzas like Harley and Freelee.
Here's my chia and sunflower thing that I really love for breakfast (after a few bananas):
Soak 1/4 C chia in 1-1/4 C water and stir well. Let thicken for an hour. Blend 1/4 C sunflower seeds with enough water for sunflower seed milk (Don't bother straining the milk, but blend it well). Pour the sunflower seed milk over half the chia, and have the rest of the chia later or the next day (with more sunflower seed milk). I go crazy for this in the morning. Pleased to say I'm totally addicted.
I agree with you. Also, fat creates a feeling of being satiated.
He makes his money selling diamonds. Are you aware that the diamond trade is not very "nice?" So if we're good in past lives we get to come back and exploit poor people and rape the land for our own benefit?
"“I called my wife and said, ‘Honey, I’m not coming home tonight!’ ” said Michael Arnstein, the CEO of New York’s Natural Sapphire Co. “We’re in a frenzy. This is changing our business overnight.”
I seem to recall hearing that Indian diamond mines use a lot of child labor but am too lazy to look it up right now. I'm not judging Arnstein. Whatever he does, he does. I'm just questioning this good behavior/karma stuff put forth by the person who's claiming that someone who did a lot of good in past lives would get rewarded with a lucrative job in the vanity trade. It's weird to me how the new age mind always seems to stop digging when its convenient. Truth rarely plays a factor.
Well you probably missed it but the fruit fly posse have already chased him off this site. He's gone.
* Not Indian but Sri Lanka, the former Ceylon, is where the sapphires come from. Sorry about that.
Inexcusable. So much for caring about people more than animals, eh?
What does "conscious" even mean in this context?
Well, as for me, I was thinking in the context of being aware of what one is doing and it's wider implications.
Isn't it kind of weird, though, that if Princess Dianna's mother hadn't had a sapphire that Dianna got sentimental over and had picked a different color of corundum for her ring there probably would never have been a WFF and this whole brouhaha might never have had the opportunity to occur?
And what about Princess Di's level of consciousness? Kids must have been working the mines then, too. Maybe Di somehow subconsciously grasped that and it made a transformed reentrance into her awareness when she consciously decided to campaign against those other mines.
