Some foods, it's impossible to look at n know if they have mold. Chia seeds are blackish, carob powder is powder, etc. Is there any at home mold kit or anything, that shows mold levels? Or any way to find out?

A microscope works. If you don't want to go that way just avoid commercially dried fruits and keep your seeds and nuts in the fridge. Avoid powders and buy everything as whole as you can find it and powder it when you need to. Things like that...

Mold is on everything it seems. Means its been dead for it to attract the mold in the first place, so you really have to throw out the whole food.
