"New study proves that organic food has superior nutritional value

This new study is scheduled to be published (next week) in the British Journal of Nutrition and its findings are really impressive. Researchers discovered that, over all, ‘organic crops contained 17 percent more antioxidants than conventionally grown crops.’ In some classes of antioxidants – the difference was much greater. For example, a group of compounds known as flavanones were 69 percent higher in the organic produce samples."

The general public is actually starting to catch on. Prices are getting higher with demand and the pickings are getting slimmer in my area.

Yesterday organic apples were $2.99 each which is fifty cents more than they cost there last week and we know they weren't any more out of season this week than last and also the price of gas has gone down since then so that couldn't have been a factor.

Yeah it's definitely nothing new but I came across it and thought I'd share it since I don't think everyone here eats organic. Can't always blame them though, it's ridiculously expensive and one can utilize the clean fifteen.

You certainly have gone softball with your avoidance of anything controversial and other milquetostery, haven't you now? Just keep that obsolete leaky sinking NH, etc., boat you'd like everyone to think is sea worthy from rocking huh? What a joke. You don't care about truth. You are the old guard.

Oh, and oh wow, chemical companies don't like organic growing methods! Can you believe it? Let's dust that ancient news off again as a diversion. Yawn.

The bigger is issue is where to find food that is really really organic unless you grow it yourself.

unless the water itself is free of heavy metals and pollutants

how is the food you eat "organic"?

i may be splitting hairs

but i learned in grade school that water is absorbed through the roots to make the plant grow

let me know if there are any further insights on how the junk in water is NOT absorbed by the plant

i would actually be highly interested
